Wanted a smaller remote to control volume on an Onkyo TX-SR805 receiver. Some of the other buttons work also, including ON and OFF ! Very happy with purchase. I still need the original large remote for more complex operations, but this smaller remote is the main control now. Music and TV is even better now ! Hope this helps. May God bless !

Worked great, right out of the box!

I have an older Onkyo HT-RC180. Ive been through 3 Onkyo remotes because the volume button keeps wearing out. So instead of buying another Onkyo remote for a small fortune, I tried this one -- and its great. Works with my older Onkyo and does the most used buttons. Doesnt cover different sound dynamics and fine tuning adjustments. But for the basics, it works great.

For such a low price I was a little nervous. Most of my remotes were always more expensive. Great buy as it is a exact duplicate.

Normally you have to do a couple steps to setup your electronics especially when you have compatibility issues. All I had to do was add the batteries and it immediately worked with my receiver. No complaints on quality of product at this point.
