04-06-2025A Windows update caused an automatic repair loop on a Dell Inspiron 5570 laptop, which led me to try this recovery disk first. Unfortunately, I had to return it, as it didn’t work at all. Neither did a competitors. I had to seek out a loaner laptop to produce recovery media instead. I appreciate the seller’s prompt refund response despite everything.

Greater than one weekMany of the utilities on this DVD were very helpful in analyzing my system and copying files to an external drive. However, the only version of Windows 10 provided is Pro and, since I only have a license for Home, I could not install Windows. If only I had known ....

> 3 dayIt took a few tries for my laptop to pick up the media for some reason. I tried both UEFI and BIOS a couple times, and finally on the third BIOS try it picked it up.

I brought this disk to reset my laptop but it would not take because a whole partition was missing from my drive. It asked for a specific file that was not there. I believe in normal circumstances this disk may work.
