Wow, talk about value. This, personally, my new favorite keyboard. It literally checks every box for almost half of what I’d expect to pay. Out of the box, this thing is packed with pretty much every feature you could ask for: wired with hub capability, Bluetooth, 2.4ghz alternative wireless (and built-in magnetized storage for the receiver), RGB lightning (and it’s actually some of the best I’ve seen), key swapping, and lots of light control and key control functions! More so, it’s loaded with even more features that are value add and time saving: stuff is lubed already, a cotton noise deadener, and (some may not like it, but they absolutely love it): additional labeling in the keys for all the functions the keyboard has, which makes it so much easier to remember what you can actually do with the FN key without busting out the quick reference card all the time. Quality is top-notch. I checked all the key colors and they are all double shot. The function labeling is dye sublimated grey, which should last forever, as there is no finger contact with it. The case is two-tone which I love and is super-stable. It does have toggle switches for power and to alternate Bluetooth and 2.4ghz mode. The Bluetooth mode appears to support 3 profiles which I love (bound to the Q, W, and E keys). As I mentioned before, the light function on this keyboard really stood out to me: I found the color and light distribution to be very, very nice and the adjustable brightness has good range. The keyboard sounds and performs great. I’m not a power gamer, but I do jump into some games with my kids on the regular. I also do lots of document creation and editing. The keyboard feels great to type on and the linear actuation is very, very nice. I usually go with a tactile key, mostly cause I think they’re a bit more fun to type with, but these keys sound amazing and with the cotton mat inside, there is definitely a premium feel to things. One final note before closing: I thought I was going to be bummed about not having arrow keys on my new daily driver keyboard, but this one makes it so easy to toggle them on and off and the function labels makes it even simpler to work with: I’m pretty much always leaving the arrow keys on on it and it’s working out great for me. I could go on and on about how much I love about this thing, but it really comes down to the simple fact that I absolutely love good value and this keyboard is just that. It also looks amazing and functions better than I could’ve anticipated. It’s the total package. It’s also very DIY friendly, which many people will love. If you’re pondering if this is the one, then just order it already: you’ll be happy you did.

This is my second Royal Kludge keyboard, and I must say Im very impressed with the brand. My main use case for this is as a portable keyboard for the Steam Deck and other mobile devices, and in that it excels. Pros: - Compact but easy to use. I thought Id miss having dedicated keys for arrows, pagedown, etc., but at least for my use case they werent too necessary. - LED lighting is decent, and the different colored keycaps make it easy to see which keys youre hitting from the corner of your eye. - Excellent USB ports and nice to have Bluetooth + 2.4GHz connection options. - Keys and mechanical SkyCyan switches feel and sound great, except... Cons: - If theres one thing I didnt like, the spacebar is a little loud and hollow-sounding when you press it. Not a big deal, and it could be adjusted by modding! Overall, its a very solid 60% keyboard that works well and feels great to use. Im not expecting to get into keyboard modding much, but it seems friendly towards customization if thats your thing. If you want something still compact, but slightly larger (by an extra row of keys), Id also recommend checking out Royal Kludges RK68 line of keyboards for comparison.

This is what Ive been looking for in a 60% for a while now. I prefer larger form-factors, but theres just something about this one that always attracts me. What Ive wanted was a 60% that could be hot swapped, wireless, and didnt require much effort in terms of modding (I used to enjoy doing the stuff, but recently Ive become a dad and just dont have the same amount of time to dedicate to keyboards anymore). This checks all those boxes! While its good out of the box Im not a fan of linear switches, so I swapped them out for some tactiles. That being said, they were very smooth with next to no ping and no scratchy feeling. Whatever switch you go with, the stock dampening is good enough that you wont get much echo or resonance out of this chassis. The stabilizers could use a little lube though. After changing the keycaps I noticed the backspace has a tick on the left side and the shift has the same on the right. None of those caveats will take away from this being a 5 star board though. I love the feel and sound of it, and the fact that its both BT and 2.4ghz makes me very happy. With the dongle you can actually game with this board while wireless, so now my entire desk can be (wireless mouse and headset as well). If youre in the market for a wireless board, this is a good grab.

Impressed with the out the box design and sound of this keyboard. Out the box thock was better than most keyboards Ive purchased in the $100+ range. The only mod I considered doing was the tempest mod (which did make a difference, but wasnt completely necessary tbh). Might gotten lucky with my stabilizer but they were very well lubed. May add extra dampening material under the space bar as it is a bit clunky. Overall great for the purchase point. I was surprised with the switches as well. I was staged to swap them out but have found I decently enjoy the actuation on them. The only con (which is why I docked a star) Id say is with these being ABS switches and no rebuy templates for the key caps. This does come with a manual, so the shortcuts are all listed there, but unless this keyboard is your daily driver, if you were to switch key caps overtime you would definitely forget all of these shortcuts as theyre not the standards ones Ive been using on all other 60% keyboards. Wish there was an option to just re-buy these key caps after they start shining through as these keys specifically show all shortcuts on the lower wall of the keys.

If this was a full-size keyboard, I would say this is the best keyboard I have ever used and felt. The keypresses feel very nice and professional. The cushion added makes the keys feel perfect. The supports in the Enter and Backspace spaces feel amazing. You will be impressed with this keyboard and the keys. This keyboard does not have arrow keys by default. Note this first if you plan to get this keyboard. There are modes you can turn on, and one mode you can turn on is to use specific keys as the arrow keys, but you will then have to switch the mode (FN -> Enter) every time you want to use the / character. The RGB modes are nice to use. I have tested Bluetooth and a MacBook Pro M1 and it worked with no issues. I tested the USB port with the USB memory stick and the computer saw the memory stick. I used Bluetooth wireless and it worked on battery power. The keys feel like Cherry MX Brown. They are pretty quiet keys. It will not be a keyboard that people will complain is lound. The cushion helps disapate most of the sound. The key pressing force is just enough. It is not a super sensitive key, so I would not use it for gaming. But for typing and programming it would be a great keyboard. Pros: - Keys pressing - USB Memory stick option - Bluetooth - Rechargeable batteries - RGB - All keys are visible without RGB. Cons: - I wish it had the arrow and PageUp, ... keys - Wish it came with a coiled USB cable Overall I like this keyboard a lot. I will probably use this as my traveling keyboard since I have to travel a lot. If it had the arrow keys and PageUp,... section, I would make this my daily keyboard. I will look to see if they make a similar keyboard that is bigger. If you are looking for a new keyboard that small, this is probably one of the best keyboards you can get.

I know this comes up as a keyboard for gaming. Last time I gamed with any regularity was getting Mrs. Pacman to eat ghosts and cherries, or with my space battleship shooting down invaders marching back and forth across my screen. I dont know how this keyboard works with games today...mostly because I have no idea about games today! It caught my attention for two other reasons...First, I travel for work and hate working off the laptop keyboard. I thought this would be a nice compact keyboard that I could pop in my computer bag and use wherever Im working. It seems to work okay for this purpose. Ive used it only for a few minutes, but it seems to be typing fine. Pictures shows its size compared to my other bluetooth wireless keyboard. The LED lighting is a cool effect. Its a mechanical keyboard, so pressing the keys feels very substantial and old school. I have not tried it as wireless yet as I am currently charging it. I have no idea what hot-swappable means so I cant make any comment on how well this feature works. I also intend to use this on my Roku TV instead of the point and click keyboard on screen for entering in searches and username/passwords. Im giving it a presumed 5 stars now because it types out what I am writing and looks cool. I will update if I come across any other issues as I explore using this.

Works great, I use it on my Mini PC, and it seems to be fairly responsive. The battery life lasts for a good bit of time. Typing on it feels good and I can definitely recommend this keyboard.
