Greater than one weekI like it. Will I buy another? Probably not. Here’s why. It needs a babysitter. It’s just 2 of us and we’re tidy but you have to vacuum proof your house before you let it go. It gets stuck under certain recliners, dressers, etc. if the clearance is too low. You must make sure all cords are out of reach. I could easily vacuum myself in 1/2 the time this takes but then… where’s the fun in that. It does however, do a great job in picking up dirt and hair! It’s unbelievable what this little thing comes back with! Also I can’t find replacement filters to fit. I’m still searching and the filter is pretty clogged. I think I would go with a more recognizable brand with easy to find replacement parts next time.

> 3 dayThis is our second Tikom robo vac. The first one was a model 2700 to replace our aging iRobot. The 2700 is slim and can go under sofa and bed and doesnt get stuck as easily as the iRobot. It works well for us, except we had to carry it up and down stairs to clean both floors. So when the G8000 came out we put in an order. Its mopping function makes a lot of sense for our first floor which is primarily hardwood floors. The idea was to keep one on each floor. The G8000 arrived quickly and with nice packaging. It is slightly thicker than the slim 2700, which makes sense because it has to fit a water tank for mopping. Set up was quick and the phone app works fine. It also comes with a remote control so you can operate without a phone. Tested it and it works, but we prefer to use the phone app anyways (instead looking for the remote). The mopping function works well. We were initially surprised by the small water tank. But it is pretty efficient with water. It mops with a damp cloth attached to the underside of the water tank via velcros. Cleaning the 1000sq ft hardwood floor takes about a tank of water, perfect for our home. Its pretty easy to clean too. If you take off the water tank, it become a regular vac. In this case it is very similar to the 2700 that we have. Pretty effective. So this is our set up -- the 2700 lives upstairs, going under the beds and around dressers to clean carpeted areas. The new 8000 stays downstairs doing mopping most of the time. Each has their own charging station. No need to carry them up and down anymore. Its been a month so far and we like this.

> 3 dayThis is the first robotic vacuum I bought; thoroughly research and decided to buy this one. We have a mid size dog and a cat; I was amazed at how much this vacuum picked up! When I received it I vacuumed first with the upright vacuum and then sent the robotic off and running. It picked up so much more even after vacuuming with the big vacuum. The instructions were very clear and includes an extra set of brushes and even a string cutter if something gets wrapped around the main brush. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because once in a while it gets stuck on the same path, going over and over the same strip of carpet. I can’t figure that one out, but heck, other than that it does a great job. Our house is quite large with two stories, and it saves me from having to lug the big vacuum up and down the stairs. Overall, I’m quite happy with the purchase.

> 3 dayWeve never had anything like this, pure novices. Two months in now though. The mop function sounded good but its pretty worthless. But we use it almost every night to dust up and its been great to have. No worries with stairs, it stops there. We do have some couches that it wants to go under and almost can so it often gets stuck there. But its great around the kitchen table, chairs, stools, rugs, even our foam mats in the kitchen, etc. Havent used the magnetic barrier because that seems a great nuisance and not really practical. If you could mark the territory and have it learn it, then remove the tape, then maybe. But it doesnt learn the territory. It maps as it goes to make sure its covering the area in a systematic way, but doesnt remember anything (which is reasonable because chairs could shift, or the base could). It sometimes can find its way home but not always. Since it has a map of where it came from, where its been, and where it is (I can see it on the handy app), I would assume it could head straight home when its done or low on charge or we send it....but it wanders around and struggles to find the base. Not a huge deal to pick it up and put it there when that happens, but its not ideal. I do like the app. The remote is fine for basic start/stop/go home, but manually driving it around doesnt work too hot.

> 3 dayWhy didnt i purchase one of these years ago? I was skeptical about its ability, but it does a better job than I do of getting into corners and under table. I was also surprised at its ability to pick up. The brushes and rollers do an excellent job in concert with one another. Im ashamed to say I was apalled at the amout of material I found the dust bin and the sad realization I had been living in filth and was clueless. Do take your time in preparing the space by picking up items that might get trapped and rerouting wires to lamps and fixtures that it might become entangled in. I am totally pleased with its performance and would recommend it without hesiatation.

> 3 dayGreat product especially for the price! It’s also comes with an app that you can download to control your robot when your away from home. It includes a remote as well with extra accessory add-ons for the robot. Highly recommend.

> 3 dayThis was my first robot cleaner, the price was very reasonable and i was very happy with the purchase. Over all it did an okay job, since this is my first i am not very picky. The suction power is good but not for deep cleaning. I downloaded the App in the beginning but decided to delete it, because it seem only good to keep record of the time the cleaner worked. The remote control is not working, or i dont know how to use it . I think we are doing okay just charge the robot and put it to work wherever. I clean the machine every time after the cleaning is done, its easy to take the part out to clean. This cleaner is pretty quiet also.

> 3 dayAnastasia does a great job! I really have no complaints about her. She saves me tons of time on cleaning the floors. She obviously can’t get the corners very well, and she definitely does not get the tough stains out, but at the end of the day she’s a robot! Nonetheless she’s gets the job done!
