Greater than one weekThe Roccat Vulcan TKL Pro is a decent keyboard, but at its price point, there are many better options. First of note, the keyboard uses the cheaper ABS styled plastic for its keys - finger oils, letters rubbing off, etc. are expected (potentially with cracking of paint). I felt this was a bad sign considering the overall cost of the unit. From there, looking at the chassis, its a plastic chassis thats reinforced with metal. The desk I am on is not straight at the moment and I noticed visible flex on the board, which was disappointing when compared to my other costlier boards. The RGB was very disappointing. Creating basic patterns (such as a static background, with a ripple effect upon typing) seemed impossible? I wasnt able to do that. I work in IT so that should tell you something. Effectively the only option you look at with the RGB for cool colors is AIMO, which who knows how it works, I doubt its any type of actual reactive AI though. Overall this isnt a BAD keyboard, its a bad keyboard for the price. If it were $70-80 I would consider keeping it; at the price point its going for, theres no way I can add this to my collection.
