> 3 dayIve never written a review for a product on the same day as receiving it, but I was so impressed with this keyboard I immediately bought a second for my nephew and Im ready to slam a 5-star. This is my first experience with linear actuation or optical switches. Ive heard people say this board does a pretty good job with typing -- so that its useful for beyond just gaming -- and let me just say, that holds true. Im quite a speedy touch typist (120+ wpm), and I can type as fast as ever with only minimal errors, which should only improve with some more time on the board. I saw some say this keyboard is loud, but it isnt really. I suspect this is from people bottoming out on their key strokes, but if youre a more skilled typist you will learn the actuation point and type much lighter and quieter since the linear switches dont require you to bottom out your presses. When it comes to gaming, wow, what a difference. The smooth strokes and quick response feels like it has lifted the skill ceiling on movement. I can actually dance around with my hand on the keyboard much faster to do the things I want to do, and I feel much more precise. I did not expect a keyboard to make such a big difference, but if you are being bottlenecked on a slower board, then this definitely will make a difference for you as it has for me. The weight of the board is really solid and the key presses are super soft. The RGB looks great and you can assign different lighting to individual keys in the software. Only one gripe so far: ABS keycaps. For a $140 board it would be nice to have PBT, but I knew this when I got it. Still, the finish on the keys is actually very nice and feels much better than your typical ABS caps. The tldr of all this -- amazing for gaming, yet still solid for typing. Super comfy to type on and feels quality.

> 3 dayThis is easily the best keyboard I have ever used in my life. The switches are fast, responsive, and give good haptic feedback when pressed. The sturdy aluminum base and low profile give it a very balanced feel. I also like how the keys are not recessed into the board, so its easy to clean between the keys. I write probably 10,000-15,000 words per week and everything feels super sturdy still. Its also small enough to put in your backpack if you need a board on the go. I havent tried too much gaming with it yet but what I have done feels great. If you want to use the LEDs to their full extend, make sure to download Roccats Swarm software so you can make custom color profiles and patterns. I personally really like the lighting options but you can turn all that stuff off if you dont want to use it Overall, its an excellent keyboard. I wish there were a wireless version but oh well.

Greater than one weekThis keyboard is actually not bad. It does get a pass and the reason why is because it looks good to the eye the colors arent to bright and arent so noticeable that it distracts me while i play my games. I bought this keyboard weeks ago and Ive been using it since it came in. Regarding the ergonomics of the keyboard seeing as im use to a numpad being on a keyboard I wont knock off points for this keyboard not having one because it wasnt designed to have one. Was a bit hard to get adjusted to at first because i use that numpad like crazy with my other keyboard which is a VAVA. This keyboard is actually very small and can cause issue for someone with bigger hands like me. I do have issues every once in a while where i go to hit the b button and hit the space or some other letter as well while typing keep in mind i do type pretty fast. This keyboard is perfect for gaming honestly depending one what kind of gaming you actually play as ive stated before i play games where i do indeed use the numpad for certain things in game that i need and this keyboard doesnt provide that but if you can get over that and want to make a switch this is the right keyboard. The keys on this keyboard are touch sensitive i mean really touch sensitive compared to my other board like the slightest tap and whatever you hit is popping up in text or casting the spell from the hotkey or whatever you got going on at the time. I like it though it can cause issues for others.

Greater than one weekI have lots of mechanical keyboards and was interested in this one because of the optical switches. I was surprised that the keyboard had such a nice feel since it had ABS keycaps. I do really like the minimal keycap design in general, and I imagine it would be even better with PBS. Some of the lighting partially died within the first couple of weeks, so there might be some manufacturing issues. The lighting requires the software to be running, so unfortunately you cant save lighting setting to the keyboard (this is sadly true of even the most expensive mechanical RGB keyboards though so I wont fault them for it).

> 3 dayIve had plenty of keyboards before of all kinds including with laptops included. This keyboard definitely has a custom click to it but it is a nice click for sure! I do like how each key sounds, enter, backspace are especially nice. Not sure what the above reviewers are talking about with some kind of ringing to the click, I hear none of that. That would be way too particular for me though so its not even a thing. Im a software engineer so I do type quite fast. This is the first time Ive tried a TKL board for home use but I dont use the other pad that often so well try it because the compact size is welcome! I also enjoy the lighting schemes especially the main intelligent typing one that lights the keys up as you type with more emphasis on ones held longer or pushed more while change colors throughout. Its kinda like a heat map almost. Beautiful keyboard for sure and I can tell that the quickness is pretty snappy. Not sure how to gauge the value/money ratio but I didnt buy this for value or money, I bought this for premium and coolness first then functionality for the money second.
