> 3 dayThe cost ($20) made me think that this would not be the real deal. At time of purchase I rationalized that interest level (or lack there-of) in 2015 was the reason for lower price and went ahead. Packaged arrived in estimated time and I am very pleased with the product. Good quality feel to the unit and it synced to the WIIU console easily. The purchased has revived Rock band interest in our house. Lots of fun

> 3 dayI originally bought this due to the fact that my daughter wanted to learn keyboards. After a little research I determined that the Rock Band 3 keytar was usable as a MIDI controller, and that actual game interface did not matter, so I bought the cheapest one. Due to some driver issues, if you try to use the wireless interface to a PC, it will LAG very badly. And while it might be usable if all your doing is using it to enter sequences, your much better getting a MIDI to USB cable. Which I did and now it works right.

> 3 dayI cant believe this thing doesnt get more press coverage. This is worth all twenty of the dollars it costs. My three complaints are that you have to use batteries, you have to hold down a button to pitch bend, you cant change the MIDI channel, and worst of all you have to hold down a button to pitch bend (why didnt they make it the other way around??). Oh well.

> 3 daythis only works with rock bad 3- no other rock band games are compatible with the keyboard- I thought this would allow us to add a 5th player to the game but it does not, you just loose one of the other instruments :( this is by far the hardest instrument to learn and play this game with!

23-11-2024I purchased this because it was a new instrument to Rock Band but was apprehensive thinking it might be too difficult to learn. WOW was I wrong... My 12 year old is already playing pro keys after a few weeks with no prior piano lessons. Every one of our family members loves playing on it.

> 3 dayI dont use this for Rock Band but rather use it as a very inexpensive MIDI controller for my portable MIDI-enabled equipment. Ive been moving away from computers lately and back to hardware instruments. I recently purchased a Korg Volca Keys and while playing it with the ribbon keyboard is fun, Im much more dextrous on a keyboard. I wanted something that was battery powered and had the standard 5 pin DIN MIDI port as well. Having seen reviews for this controller on various synth forums I purchased this and it works great. The keys play well though the layout of some of the controls arent always easy to get to. You can use the ribbon controller for pitch bend but you have to hold down a button on the side of the ribbon to activate it, which seems counter-intuitive. Perhaps the button helps to extend battery life but I find it awkward to use. Given the price, its still a phenomenal bargain.
