Rockland Melbourne Hardside Expandable Spinner Wheel Luggage, Black, 2-Piece Set (20/28)

I love my suitcase.

Its Rockland, and if you know Rockland, you know these are FABULOUS!! If youve never used Rockland luggage, then YOU MUST BUY THESE!! My husband and I travel frequently every year, and only use Rockland or Heys luggage. I absolutely LOVE the Rockland luggage because its durable, attractive, and protects all your belongings from those crazy baggage handlers - YIKES!! I actually bought these for my son for our trip to Mexico this year, and he LOVED them too! He was able to fit everything he needed in the 28 suitcase, and the inside pockets made organizing easier for him. The design of the suitcase itself actually prevented scuffing and marking, which was wonderful! We will totally buy these again as gifts!!

When I first received them I almost returned them because I mistook the lightweight feel as cheap (the lining seemed pretty thin and nearly nonexistent). Fortunately I didnt and subsequently took them on their first two trips within weeks. First trip was from Cincinnati to Rome. Usually when I travel, I use the thicker canvas type of bag and have had them come back from the airline with rips and black oil scuffs. These werent even scratched. I know that seems impossible but Im thinking that maybe its just because with the uneven surface, maybe scratches wouldnt be as visible. This is just a generic theory but, I kid you not, they look great still. The large case went to Rome, Germany, and France, then back to the states and I really appreciated the lightweight feel I didnt like at first. The wheels swivel all around and the handle expands easily and generally works as it should. Everything has held up great. The second case has only been on a road trip, but Im pretty happy with these. Also, depending on how you zip them, they can be expanded width wise by a few inches--which really came in handy at the GE airport when I tried jamming more beer and souvenirs in; expanded a little and done! They work well and are holding up so much better than my canvas suitcases were. These really seem like theyll last.

I like but I feel like the material for the hard shell might be a little thin.

I love the size and how durable they are. BUT the smell of Moth Balls is overpowering. Hopefully I can get it out with Febreeze Fabric spray that i will be purchasing today. I would return them but we need them for a Alaska cruise we are going on in 2 weeks.

Small suitcase elastic lock is broken....I am travelling tomorrow to India, just saw it was broken, I can change it now. I will be coming back after 2 months only.

I bought these luggage 3.5 years ago and theyre still great! A few scuffs from being checked at the airport, but the zippers are great and they look wonderful. Most of our travel has been via car where they are definitely treated better than at the airport. But we have 2 kids who have sat on them, tried rolling them through rocks, kicked them, played with the handle, etc. There has never even been 1 time that the handle has gotten stuck or anything! Long story short, theyre durable and protect our belongings and Im here to buy another set (just so we can travel with more junk)!

I had previously bought just the Rockland 20 and I liked it a lot. The first one had a slight odor when I got it. These two however... Peeeee Yeeeeewwwww. They are in the basement airing out. I assume after some time theyll be fine. Other than the odor these things are great. Update: These have been in my basement now for about 2 months fully open and airing out. The odor is mostly gone but if you open the zipper to expose the inside of the handlebar area, it still has a slight smell. Maybe the color has something to do with it? Silver was fine. Blue not so much

I bought these with careful research and they are holding up great. Not a dent or scratch. I have taken 4 domestic trips with them. I ordered them right before my trip so I could return them right after if anything did happen.
