I bought these as a quick, I need a suitcase now, trip. They were cheap so, meh. Im sure I will eventually buy a bigger, nicer heavy duty set of hard case luggage, but these served their purpose so far. Ive only used them on two trips. The handle is perfectly find on the larger of the two, but on the smaller one, the pull out handle is very flimsy and shifts back and forth. It is not as stable to push the smaller one upright as it is with the bigger one. I can tell from the material on the inside that it is cheap, although it has not ripped on me yet, It feels that it very well could in the future. The outside is NOT scratch resistant in the slightest, and got scuffed during transport, but Im not too mad, as I didnt spend a ton of money on these. Good for basic little trips here and there... but they arent luxury by any means.

On the smaller piece the handle jams. It takes some time and effort to get the handle to go back down. I would like the supplier to replace this piece.

I havent traveled yet with this set, but I am leaving for the Dominican Republic tomorrow. So, I will let everyone know how it went when i come back. Thus Five star rating until further evaluation. P.S. the smell everyone is talking about comes from the glue they used to seal the wheels inside the suit case. Honestly, you have to have a very sensitive nose to think that it is strong. Its a brand new suit case for crying out loud, of course its not going to smell laundry fresh, its going to smell like brand new plastic. Update: I am back from the Dominican Republic and the Luggage is in perfect condition! I mean this set held up under some harsh conditions and as for the smell, dont even worry because the smell is barely existent. The smell is not a factor in this awesome set! Think of it this way, what do new shoes smell like?

Pretty good luggage overall, fantastic luggage for the price point. I purchased a 20 roller several months ago for a cross country flying vacation hoping it would make the roundtrip and then I could toss it if it was in bad shape. I ended up keeping it and ordering this set for our family! On my first trip it passed through 5 airports and 6 planes with no damage, just some scuffs that it took without any issue. The spinners are plastic and work perfect. In my opinion this is not high end luggage that is going to last you a lifetime of hard use, but Im sure Ill get quite a few years out of it with no problems. Some reviewers have complained about the handles being weak and bending easily. The handles are aluminum and Im sure it wouldnt take a whole lot to bend it. But I just keep that in mind and treat it with some care and try not to make it a super heavy load. After I purchased this second set Ive taken it in the truck on a few road trips. Its mainly seen parking lots and hotel hallways. I have nothing negative to say about its performance. On the interior both sides are lined with the same lining, one side has a zip enclosure that covers that whole side to keep items secure. The other side has a zip pocket and elastic that makes an X by attaching in the middle to keep things in. Both sizes are expandable. The 20 fits perfectly into overhead bins as well. I suggest you put it in wheels first and it fits with no issues. Some reviewers also complained about the chemical or plastic smell when it first arrived. It does have an odor. My solution was to leave it open to air for a few days and then I stored it with a few dryer sheets behind the liner which you can unzip. No noticeable odor on my clothing or in the suitcase after that. All in all for the money I paid I feel like this is a really good value. I highly recommend it.

I am so disappointed in this purchase. We bought this luggage for my 9 year old son. He was so excited to finally have his own set. He went to use it for the first time (out of the short return window because we hadnt traveled) and the zipper split and could not be repaired. The bag was not even near full and I have no way to return it. Do not buy this.

Big bag was full of scratches and bends I had to return it even though I’m traveling two days from now, so disappointing!

Not really a hard sided case, luggage cracked during the delivery, I cannot imagine it would fare well thru the airline baggage process over the course of just a few trips.
