> 24 hourNeeded to drill thru our brick home and foundation stones to install a new furnace. Was initially impressed at how well the 2 bit went thru the brick, but then it caught and the drill spun, and bent the bit. I thought it was done, but I put the bit back in the hole and carefully bent it back straight (mostly) and was able to keep drilling. Make sure to hold the drill securely! Have to stop every inch depth and chisel out the brick plug as the bit bottoms out at that point. Next hole was through foundation stone (oolite I think) with the 1.5 bit. The cutting surface got gunked up with the dust from the stone and got stuck in the hole. Ended up having to use a bigger bit to drill around the stuck bit and with much patience and difficulty dig it out of the hole. The shank on this bit then broke off, leaving it useless. I was able to put a bolt thru the hole to get a little more use out of it (see the pic), but not ideal. Maybe a setup like a wood hole saw set - with one shank that screws on to all the hole saws would be a sturdier design. FYI If youre drilling a deep hole, the 3/8 collet forstner bit extender does work with these bits, but the shank on these bits is so short that only one set screw will engage the bit. And be careful that screw doesnt loosen so you lose the bit in the hole! If youre looking for a one time use, or just light hobby use, these bits might work, but any heavier use and they are just not up to the task. Hope this helps somebody.

> 24 hourI installed a new quartz countertop and needed to drill holes for the faucet and vessel sink. This kit made it easy to start the hole and maintain the cut. I only made one hole with two different size bits, so I cant attest to how well they hold up. But the suction apparatus worked great and made the job much easier. Great kit for a home owner.

> 24 hourIm installing a bathroom in my basement, and the shower is 100% tile, clay tile! I needed to install the water flow/temp control valve so I had to cut a 2 hole in the tile. I figured I could use my roto-zip with a tile/ceramic bit. I was wrong! I burned up 3 bits and only got about 70% of the hole cut. I purchased these cutting bits and they work great! I took the 2 bit and it ate through the tile in 15 seconds. Then I had to cut a 3/4 hole for the shower head, and it zipped through like a champ! I cant speak for longevity, but initial efficacy is outstanding! 10/10 would recommend.

> 24 hourBits work great but the guide not so much!

> 24 hourWas skeptical at first because of the low price. Used it to bore holes in quartz counter top. Was a bit wobbly to start. Without rushing, it handles the job well.

> 24 hourIn general work well. But first out of the box failed in 2 minutes. Would have given 5 star because it was inexpensive, had first not failed so fast

> 24 hourWorks perfectly. Follow the instructions about low drill speed and plenty of water. Keep it clean and cool and can cut many holes.

> 24 hourRated 5 star but not 100% satisfied. I should have shopped more as I only needed 1 size to drill travertine shower for anchors. The bit did make 4 holes, where others failed after barely cutting a dimple, but the bit is worn and will not work any further. The suction cup guide did not work at all, as the suction is poor at best. Good bits but kit more than needed and guide plate might work for smooth tile but not travertine.
