I am 57 and picked these blades up to get some excercise other than running... I am a novice roller blader. They roll nice, fit well, comfortable. I am normally size 11-11.5 so I went with size 12 - good choice! Size 11 would have been too tight. The brake stop on right boot doesnt stop you very well. At best, it attempts to slow you down. You will need to learn how to slow/stop hockey style. Well see how the wheels hold up on durability. Thus far, quality blades for $100.

  • Very happy with this purchase! My new favorite earrings! Five stars all around!

I used to inline skate a lot in the 90s and 2000s.....then I just stopped. I wanted to see if I could still inline skate, so I bought these Rollerblades. First off, I wear a size 14 running shoe so I was nervous these would be too small. These fit perfect....I mean like custom made for my foot! I took the brake off, never liked the heel brake, and went to an indoor skating rink. It took me about 15 minutes and I was good to go! I loved it! These Rollerblades are fantastic....fit amazing, comfortable, roll smooth and just all around perfect. If you wear a size 14 mens....you will be fine with these. *I actually ordered a few size 13 inline skates (various different ones) to try on....these fit the best and were just soooo comfortable.

This skate is trash unless you are going to skate on perfect blacktop paths without a single crack or pebble in your way. The Wheels/bearing are awful with terrible roll and no shock absorption. Youll feel every rock and bump. Well Ill just get new wheels/bearings .... Okay well thats $80 on top of the purchase of these skates!!! So why not add that $80 or $100 and get a better skate!!! . Like I said, these are fine for a casual once a year roll around the local walking path or whatever.... But if you are looking to skate, I dunno, down a SIDEWALK... forget these. Absolutely no way. . The soft boot is a nice comfortable boot. I personally have found I like a firmer boot for better power transfer. . These are good for beginners but arent exactly beginner prices.... If you want a good pair of fitness, race or hockey inline skates.... do more research, find which ones are in line with your needs, and buy a quality skate. These are a cheap afterthought from RollerBlade. . Youll quickly outgrow them and either need to spend $80 on new/better wheels OR be like me and realize you need a better skate all together and pay a proper $250-300 on a skate that will last you a decade. . I bought these in 2019... its 2021(barely) and Ive used them twice due to the lack of comfort and impact absorption. . Since I dislike these so much, I should give a suggestion on what you SHOULD get.... Well, I found I like a solid, heavier boot, and like a fast roll so I am leaning towards a hockey inline skate. . Plus I have a few friends that play roller hockey so Im actually looking at the bauer RSX ($220) a solid boot with good rolling speed. MAYBE the bauer Vapor X2.7R but well see, tough to make a call on $350 skates from the internet. . Im no moneybags, but I do acknolwedge the fact that paying for a quality product will give quality results opposed to the barebones entry level option. That said, paying $1200 for recreational skating also isnt worth it. Find a balance for your needs and youll go far :)

120 miles skating in 1.5month review. fastest I was able to go on somewhat flat land was 18.7mph. I have rotated my wheels as the picture shows. The wheels have lasted fairly well unlike other reviews mentioned that they were poor quality and would fall apart(I have taken them through various terrains but mostly rough and smooth asphalt with alot of bumps). I think the wheels have a life span of about 180-200miles when rotated, according to my use. I am 6.2 (15.748 cm) tall and weigh in around 225lbs the wheels and skates have been fine. I also ordered protective pads and a helmet (size large) and they have worked great. Besmall Kids Protective Gear Set,Roller Skating Skateboard BMX Bike Cycling Sports Protective Gear Pads for Youth Boys Girls(Adjustable Helmet+Knee Pads+Elbow Pads+Wrist Pads) Black L I am US 14 in shoe size and ordered a size 31cm (13), should have ordered a size 30cm aka US12 in skates for this brand. Ive fallen about 20 times and the skates have held up pretty good to regular scrapping and abuse. Normally ride intervals have been 3.5 miles to 25miles. Skates initially felt a little uncomfortable till I broke them in. Great skates for a beginner or someone trying to learn how to skate again. side note. wheels in very smooth asphalt are very prone to being extremely slippery vs on the road asphalt with the slightest of moisture. I also decided to remove the brakes on the right rear skate as for me there are easier/more effective ways to stop.

These are a soft boot rollerblade which is comfortable. I have a larger foot and they ended up not working out for me. I contacted rollerblade and they got back with me quickly and offered to replace my blades with a sturdier model. They stand by their product and I’d highly recommend them. It’s rare and refreshing to see companies stand behind their products. Thanks!

I ordered a mens skate as I have wide feet and was hoping they would run wider than womens. Well... they dont. The balls of my feet were pinched so tight I couldnt feel my foot to balance and move in the skates. Dont buy these unless you have very narrow feet or like having numb balls... of your feet ;)
