> 24 hourI used three of these as portage packs for a recent BWCA trip. They fit inside of the canoe perfectly and they hold a ton of gear. We lined them with trash compactor bags to keep things dry that needed to stay dry. Id highly recommend these over getting a Duluth pack.

> 24 hourI have bought many Laundry bags from the local store and they keep ripping. I got two of these bags for my dirty laundry for traveling. They are very sturdy. Love that I can backpack it to the Laundry mate. I will never have to buy another Laundry bag. Thank you.

> 24 hourI only take one star off for skimping on some of the lining to inhibit water, as well as that they could have put a more durable clip for the top. Otherwise its a great duffle bag and holds everything and more than I could ask of it.

> 24 hourIt’s not as green as the real army sacks, seems like the same size quality and smell though.

> 24 hourGot this to store some extra gear while I was at training. After the first use, one of the eyes popped off the closure, and the strap clasp bent. The shoulder straps also leave a lot to be desired, as theyre not comfortable, even with little weight inside. But, after about four months of use, the metal components are the only parts that have failed. The canvas itself has remained intact, despite being filled to the point of bursting. I wouldnt take this to the field or trust it to the airport, but if you just need to store some extra gear or uniforms, itll work just fine.

> 24 hourI took this bag on a 2 week missions trip in the desert. The build of this bag is quality, the canvas is strong and durable. It is easy and comfortable to carry, although I never needed to carry it for more than 20 minutes at a time. Definitely a worth while investment if you want a simple duffel that you can toss around. No shiny labels and fabrics, straight up legit and simple.

> 24 hourUPDATE 2: I bought a second one. Perfect for hauling lots of gear across a wide beach. Also good for traveling, as a pack/suitcase for large items. UPDATE: Im in the 2nd year with this bag now. It is holding up very well. I seriously overload this bag, and the shoulder/backpack straps show no sign of ripping or failing, etc. For the beach, it holds four large folding beach chairs, large umbrella, fishing net and two small shovels. amazing. end edit. This duffle bag is pretty awesome. It is exactly what I needed. I wanted a big bag for the beach, to carry two beach chairs, umbrella and maybe something else. It swallows all that stuff up perfectly. Best thing is that it has adjustable and padded backpack shoulder straps. It is very thick old fashioned heavy duty canvas, which is fine. Someone else mentioned that it didnt have a drawstring or any way to close the top, but it has a great system where you put the post up through the other holes and then the clip on a strap clips it all closed. It is obvious how that works once you have it and look at the photo provided here for the item. I anticipate using this bag when I next travel and need to bring bulky items. It is awesome.
