Roxio Easy CD & DVD Burning 2 | Disc Burner & Video Capture [PC Disc]

THOUGHT THIS WAS DECENT PRODUCT FROM RATINGS & REVIEWS. IT DOES BURN CDS. LABEL DOESNT WORK. CALLED FOR SUPPORT & WOMAN ASSIGNED A SERVICE TICKET FOR A SIMPLY QUESTION. NUMEROUS EMAILS, NOT ONE ADDRESSED THE FACT THAT I CANNOT GET LABELS TO PRINT. WENT TO ONLINE CHAT - THEY TRANSF TO ME TO JUST ASK WHICH REQUIRES $5.00 DEPOSIT TO SUPPORT A PRODUCT I ALREADY PAID FOR. THINKING BBB, CLASS ACTION SUITE, BAIT & SWITCH. DONT BUT THIS!!!!!!!!!!!

I bought this because I have Roxio on my old laptop and loved it - I had Nero on my old laptop, as well, but half the time, the burn would fail. Never had that problem with Roxio. The new laptop only came with Windows Media Player, so I bought this program based on my past experience with it, and it still works great. Had no issues setting it up in my new laptop and have already burned many discs with no errors, and also ripped many of my CDs. The best part is, now it also puts the album and song titles up automatically when you rip the disc, which it didnt in my old laptop, which saves me a lot of work having to manually hand key all the song titles, artist, etc. I havent actually tried it for burning DVDs yet, as my old external DVD drive wont burn DVDs anymore for some reason. If I get a new one eventually, Ill have to try that out, but I mainly got it for CDs, anyway.

Used Roxio on our Dells for years. Needed to resolve an issue regarding burning several disk images so I went with Roxio. Installation error occurred saying Java Script was off. I went thru the steps to ensure it was active. De-activated and re-activated, attempted another installation with no success and the same error. I opened a support ticket and then went to another solution as the need was critical. Still waiting for a solution after 20 hours. (Response time for the ticket is 24-48 hours, and pretty standard except we needed a quick solution.) Ill be back to finish this up after resolution, one way or another. CHeers.

Love using this to burn copies.

This software is junk. I tried four different times to copy a DVD with no response. It kept freezing my computer, which is new and running Windows 11, and I had to restart all four times to get the software to close. Dont waste your money. They are not offering refunds once you download it.

Well, in the day Roxio was the best...for it’s time. I originally used creator 1. This version is a well over bloated piece of software. At best it can do some basic tasks but not as elegantly as one would expect. My biggest complaint is that in order to install it in my studio (music) computer I need to be connected to the internet. I have purposefully kept my studio system off the internet for a great many good reasons. My music studio is for recording music and all the internet will do is bring me sorrow in the form of viruses etc. I was able to install it on my laptop which was connected to the internet. All this may seem reasonable if you are thinking about purchase verification. But wait, the software never went out and verified the serial number via the internet for the laptop. So what gives? No problem, I will drag the whole system down stairs and connect it. It will give me an opportunity to clean the dust out of the case. It’s not bad software, really. But they could do better by 2020

Despite being the year 2022, I have a bunch of audio CDs that I wanted a copy of because our car and old cheap CD players damage/scratch them up. I like to use free software when possible but everything else I could find was too sketchy. Now I could do it for free with Windows Media Player but it requires one to rip the disc, convert it to some compressed format like MP3 and then burn it again. It takes a long time, uses your effort/attention, fills space on your PC, and for audio CDs, you lose quality. It is very user friendly and easy to use Roxio to do this and it only takes 10 min per disc. On the Roxio website, it costs about 50% more than the Amazon price. I was up and running in minutes. Thanks a lot Amazon and Roxio!

The absolute worst since Corel took over on Roxio. I have been a Roxio user since the early days of Windows. Ripping and burning CDs for myself and friends. What happened Roxio? The install at times is a failure and then I would have to uninstall and reinstall again. But the absolute worst thing about either Easy CD & DVD Burning 2 or the more expensive Creative NXT 9, you have eliminated the ability of cross fading. This was the greatest effect when Burning my final project. Having songs with no gaps in between tracks is cross fading. Because you have eliminated the ability of cross fading, I will not purchase another Roxio product again. Unless it is offered again in an upgrade
