Roxio Easy CD & DVD Burning 2 | Disc Burner & Video Capture [PC Disc]

2-26-2023. Buyer Beware. Do not purchase this software application, it will not install or run on Windows 10 Pro operating systems due to unpatched security issues. I purchased the download version of Roxio Easy CD & DVD Burning 2. I installed it and tried to open the application on a Windows 10 Pro OS pc. Program Compatibility Assistant popup window. This app cant run on this device. -Paragon Launcher -Paragon Software Group. This app cant run because it causes security or performance issues on Windows. A new version may be available. Check with your software provider for an updated version that runs on this version of Windows.

Does what I wanted it to do. It was easy to use, and the price was good

Didnt need the pdf. Straight forward. I did about 150 cd rips.

Does the functions that I ask for,

Totally useless, as the data disk to load the program into my computer is totally blank

Bought this to burn some old home movies onto a blu ray disk since they were too large to fit onto a DL dvd. Even paid and installed the additional blu ray burning plug in they said i needed. NO go. Burns blu ray data just fine, but will not burn movies to a blu ray. rip off and very misleading package. States it burns blu ray but I guess they should say only for data backup. does not author bluray to play in dvd players.

very easy to copy disk that are NOT copy protected. Easy to burn ISO file to disk

works as advertised, no issues with Win10 or 11, dont expect more, does the basics

WRITING TO DVD-RW MAKES THE PROGRAM LOCK UP AND YOU CAN,T GET THE DVD-RW OUT UNTIL YOU TURN OFF YOUR COMPUTER ??????

I had been using another brand product for years paying a much higher price. I replace my computer every 18 months and when I tried to load the other product on the new computer it said I had used up all activations? That product is now a subscription on a yearly basis. No way that was going to happen. Looked at this Roxio product which had very mixed reviews, but thought for the price I couldnt lose much. Installation went in as advertised without a problem and very fast. Took about 30 minutes to get familiarized with the program and found it works easier, does just as much with fewer steps than the old much higher price program I had before. Have gone through every Burn, copy, rip and convert proceeder without any problems with excellent results. Everyone has their own opinions, but I cant understand the negative reviews. Great product, great price with great results.
