What I needed

Seems well made, I was happy it was beefy. In my application I have to coil my wires after tearing down, this coiled nicely. The ends seem durable, time will tell

Instead of rerunning a cable I was able to extend my cat 5 connection for more reliable browser due to ongoing issues with Charter.

I got this when I got new internet service, and the router was far away from the solar energy panel. I needed a bit of extension cable, and I plugged this in. It works fine, the signal is coming through. I also had to squeeze it through a tight hole in the floor, involving pushing and pulling really hard, and tweezers. It didnt break under the strain, so I reckon its pretty tough.

I used the cable to connect a laptop that I placed too far from the cable plugged into the wall outlet. The internet speeds I observed were the same before and after the extender cable was used. I ordered a longer cable that came latter, one that would allow me to connect directly to my modem, but see no need for it as the extender works as well as possible.

Locks in solidly and has stable connection.

It’s my first time trying this Cat8 and it made my old cat5 look slow. Faster gaming, faster downloads, and no lag while streaming. Feels very strong and might be very durable.

It work very well for me.
