RV Water Heater Anode Rod

We bought our Rockwood RV a year and a half ago brand new. We havent had any problems with it its one of those things that you kind of just overlooked because the thing is new and weve had good luck with it. I did start thinking about some preventative maintenance and I pulled our anode rod out and it was highly corroded and almost half gone in just a year and a half. About a 3-in section down by the threaded plug was completely missing all the way down to the rod. We have high calcium water here and it took quite a bit of flushing to get the tank cleaned out but Im glad I changed this rod.

Installed with ease; anode rod looks well made; haven’t had a chance to take RV out since installation. Will try to remember to do a follow up after a couple of uses.

Like all other anode rods, it lasts for a season and needs to be replaced. This is not bad, it is just a fact of life.

Direct replacement for my camper. I added teflon tape which was not included to make sure it didnt leak.

Arrived as expected. Will install when current one in service needs to be replaced.

Constructed better than the original anode. Was a breeze to install. I am interested to see what it looks like after the first camping season. The original anode i took out was from a 2013 Rockwood Roo. so it was about 5-6 years old.

We replace the Anode rod in our RV every year. Easy to install and keeps the minerals away from the heating element. I recommend this product
