Bag is sturdy and well made. Leather smells great. I got the dark gray and the color contrasts make it stand out. Lining on the inside is really nice. I’m able to fit about 7 days worth of jeans and shirts if folded tightly. Zippers are sturdy and hooks as well. Would recommend and buy again.

This is my second bag like this. The first was a cream and brown color but after 6 years of traveling the zipper failed. I read some reviews stating the zipper has been updated to a heavier one but time will tell! Overall good to very good product.

I bought 2 duffel bags as gifts. Found them to be sturdy, well made with nice trim. Lots of compartments/pockets. Very pleased with the product.

Ive had this bag for three years, and I want sure about it... This bag is sold by numerous vendors, but I went with Szone. I waxed it using otter wax a couple of years into it. Yes, the zipper failed and I had to replace it at my local shoe shop. A similar waxed canvas duffle like this runs 100s of dollars, so its still worth it. The leather WILL RUB OFF on your clothes!!! This tried a quick Google search and I discovered the fix. You have to run Resopene in the leather to lock the pigment into leather, then youre okay. So this is the cheap route of getting a durable waxed canvas bag, all in, it costs about $90 with the zipper replacement, Resopene for the leather and bar of Otterwax. A four if I didnt have to replace the zipper or treat the leather.

Perfect for a quick travel, gym bag or even a lite trip to the market. I live in the city so I tend to walk most places.

A Superior Product I traveled with this bag for two days aboard a train after having purchased it and it served me well. What is most impressive about it is its quality of materials and workmanship. This is a bag that will likely outlive any owner (you could give it as a baby-shower gift and that recipient will likely pass it down to his grandson.) The leather is supple and strong as well as being well-sewn-- the whole bag is strongly sewn. I am not encouraging its maker to advance the price on it but, actually, it should cost several times what is being asked for. It is a mans bag in that it is not light but not inconveniently heavy either. It has good capacity and give- can easily contain a weekend of (casual) clothes along with a pair of shoes and toiletry bag. The zipper is brass, strong, works well, and again well-sewn (I dont want to repeat myself but this bag is built the old-fashioned way and clearly meant to last for years.) The cloth is a rugged material. Appearance: Rich and classy at the highest level-- it is something youd expect to see Harrison Ford or Tommy Lee Jones throw into the back of their Land Rovers and drive off from the Dorchester. Ive read a few reviews from people who bought the bag and disliked it. One person called it garbage and mentioned that a zipper failed. Another reviewer also had problems with the zipper. Its hard to refute such reviews because, after all, everyone has their own experiences and I respect their reviews. I can only say that the zippers on my bag work smoothly and are strong. The materials that go into this bag, as Ive mentioned, are high quality as is the workmanship and its appearance. Maybe its a quality control issue with some bags coming out excellent and others not so, I do not know. I can only that the bag I bought was excellent in all respects. I can also say that I am very demanding in terms of my expectations of products purchased and this item measured up.

Orderd this bag to replace an old travel/weekend bag that had seen its heyday. Amazed when this new bag showed up!! Color was great (dark grey) pretty good canvas body and leather straps. Construction seems strong as well. Havent traveled with it yet but since Im using it as a Carry On I dont see a problem. Had it shipped to work and after unpacking 2 of my coworkers ordered a bag as well!!

Purchased this Duffel bag last year for some short trips that do not require a lot of clothes. I love the design of it and the look. But unfortunately a couple months in, the zipper on the bag broke and Im only able to zip the bag from one side. It still sort of works, but it is quite inconvenient when you need to close the bag fast and have no time for fiddling with the zipper. I just wish the bag was more durable..

Cant say enough good things about this bag. Looks great! Feels great! Fits so much stuff, but doesnt look bulky. The quality is fantastic – I wont even say its good for the money – Its just good. And yeah, that price is pretty stellar. Every time I use this bag, somebody comments on it (I have it in the grey color). Its just a great looking bag – the perfect weekender. If you like the style, dont spend $100+ on something thats probably not even as good as this one. There are no fancy extra pockets for shoes, or whatever, but if youre like me...whatever. Just put the shoes in the bag. Some people have had issues with the zipper I guess – all I can say is: so far, so good. I could see how if I really yanked on the zipper, or got something caught in it, it might break. Thats a fair point. But be aware of that, and it should be fine. Also, in my experience, S-ZONE is a very responsive company, Im sure if you ever had issues, theyd be more than happy to help repair or replace.
