Great value and was very excited to get this. No issues a month into my build and in my experience a solid choice. Now, the two friends who recommended them and had them fail in under a year *side eye emoji..... I will be searching out a replacmenet and have this run as redundancy just in case.

Love this product! Loading screens on games are basically non-existent and the price is very competitive. Youre getting an amazing 4th gen nvme for the price of the 3rd gen samsung 970 evo plus (not saying 970 isnt a beast of its own). I also really liked their secure packing since I dont trust UPS to be gentle with my deliveries.

Slower speeds than my Corsair, did not live up to its reputation. Also slows down dramatically with with more than 3 chia plots building on it.

Im always hesitant to review items, like this, so early after Ive received it. In the last week since I received this SSD, Ive put it through its paces and it handled quite well. I was going to get another 2TB Corsair MP600 for my PC, but since this one was on sale for about $80 off on cyber monday, I couldnt resist. I am not using this drive for the operating system, I am using my existing M.2 as a system drive, and this one is simply for adding extra data storage mostly for games; but also to free up room for media like music and movies. The install was extremely easy. (My Asus X570 required me to remove the M.2 heatsinks and the chipset cover, but thats more of a Motherboard issue). The bios recognized the new storage device immediately. I didnt even have to do anything in the bios, but your mileage may vary depending on bios. On the first boot, the operating system took an extremely long time to load, and Im not sure why, but it was only once. I think there was some initialization happening behind the scenes and I was stuck on a black screen for a few minutes. I just walked away from it and eventually came back to a windows 10 login screen. A note to Windows 10 users: If you are like me, and using this for extra storage and not your system drive, you will need to go into your disk manager and format this volume for use. It wont be available as a drive until you do. I measured the performance with Crystal Disk Mark and this drive performed about the same as my MP600. It did slightly better and slightly worse in some categories but overall the differences are so negligible that youd never notice it. If I recall, the MP600 seemed to do better in sequential writes and reads and this one did better in random writes and reads. Once again, the difference is so minimal that I think of them virtually the same. I moved all of my steam games to the new drives and it was so fast it moved my largest games in less than 90 seconds and the smaller games in about 30 seconds. At the moment, I could not be more pleased with this drive. I see the price has gone up since Cyber Monday, so its a bit of a tough sell at over $300, but if this ever goes on sale for less than $300 I would not hesitate to get another one.

I had the drive less than 18 months. The other day it died and is out of warranty best I can tell. Sabrent is sending me a new replacement. From what I have read and heard, the early 4tb pcie 4 m.2 had some heating issues but that has been corrected.

Im running on PCI-E 3.0 (Asus Zenith Board with AMD 2950x) and it still beats the socks off of my Western Digital 4Gb spinning disc! Worthwhile purchase (especially if your MOBO supports PCI-E 4.0)!

So far there is nothing not to like. I posted some numbers but keep in mind my rig is old and limited to PCIe 3.0. I plan on upgrading soon so I saw no reason to get an older PCIe 3.0 device. Regardless I thought these numbers might help those on older platforms considering making the jump. I use mine as a game drive as I already have an smaller 500GB 960 Evo for my OS. I picked up the 2TB version just to be clear and it basically saturates the 4x link it uses. Great drive I highly recommend it. Game loads are snappy so you wont spend as much time waiting to play. I will update my post after it has aged and filled up a good bit.

Amazingly easy to install and easy to transfer all data file and os to via a m.2 ssd transfer device. Need to download software for the device if don’t have a second m.2 slot in laptop or your desktop. I realized had a second slot in my laptop at a later time but the device I bought separately is great to have for future add-ons to my desktop.

These drives are very fast and dont break the bank whatsoever. They arent the fastest PCIe 4.0 NVMe drives but they are reasonably priced enough that you can buy 2 or more and slap them into a RAID 0 array (PCIe lane count permitting) for some serious performance. Under extended reads and writes these drives maintain a strong level of performance.
