SABRENT M.2 NVMe PS5 heatsink (SB-PSHS)

This product came in a nice copper solid case to keep it protected. I plugged it in and it was recognized immediately. A brief test showed some impressive speeds! Not ideal for gaming, but I wanted the better long-term solution with PCIe4. Do note that youll likely need a cooler for this drive, as there was not one included. I am using my motherboards solution.

Easy to install, WOW its blazes. Fastest memory Ive yet used. Package solid enough to protect in shipping and for future safety. Sabrent 1TB Rocket NMVe is fun, the load times are remarkable! Can count in lower seconds than most Ive ever used. What an upgrade! We tested many times when new, moved over 7000MB and over time still seeing numbers over 6500MB! Fantastic manufacturing this product Team Sabrent. Highly recommend.

Ill be keeping an eye on this. The heatsink didnt sit well in the provided space, I think mine may be defective. I did get screwed down, but again, the fit isnt right.

While Sony mentions that a heatsink is strongly recommended, not every heatsink attached to an nvme drive will fit.

Only difficulty was understanding how to remove and re-attach the PS5 cover :)

Très très facile à installer sur la ps5! Dissipateur à visser au dessus du disque dur interne ssd. Tout est parfait 6 mois dutilisation et aucun soucis.

While this was probably overkill for the PS5 NVME drive I used, 980 Pro, the installation was stupid easy. I wont say it was worth 20 bucks, since there are plenty of cheaper heatsinks out there for NVME drives.

It took a little while to install in the ps5 ssd slot. However it is incredibly fast. Cyberpunk 2077 loads in 3 to 4 seconds vs the hard drive I had it on. Moving games depending on their file size can take a bit if youre moving the larger GB games. The best part is it seems that this type of ssd doesnt require the heatsink to be installed. From my understanding it will be cooked by the internal fan of the ps5. Had my ps5 on most of the day and didnt get any hotter than usual. Highly recommended!!
