SABRENT M.2 NVMe PS5 heatsink (SB-PSHS)

Joined the PS5 SSD cool kids club and needed to get a heatsink for my SN850. This heatsink actually replaces the cover of the expansion bay itself and has a heatsink built onto half of it. The whole piece is aluminum and the heatsink underneath has a thick white thermal pad installed already. Just remove the plastic and screw this into place. I like that in theory this adds more surface area to attract heat and has slots to direct airflow. Full disclosure I added a thin, flexible, blue thermal pad to the SN850 to ensure good adhesion and have had no issues.

If you are thinking about a Samsung drive, save your money and your time and get a Sabrent instead! 11/10 Sabrent is synonymous with quality in the SSD space like Seasonic is for PSU’s. Just buy it already.

I got this and the heat sink cover for the ps5. Easy install on both. And definitely faster than console memory for quickest load ups yet. Only have 3 stars for longevity cause I just dont know yet will update my review after 6 months. Seems to work very well but time will tell....

Simple installation and a huge heatsink. Youre benefitting from Sabrent explicitly targetting the PS5, as this heatsink replaces the cover for the SSD slot, making it a much larger heatsink than youd get with a universally compatible SSD heatsink. Also, if youre worried about whether this will fit in your PS5 because of the sizing restrictions published by Sony, this unit lets you not have to think about it. Enjoy!

Über Wärmeleistung und Langzeiterfahrung kann ich noch nichts sagen, aber die Form ist passgenau und der Einbau war einfach und schnell erledigt.

Not even a month and a half and it died. Been hearing other people having the same issues. Maybe Its time to stay away from Sabrent.

My drive failed after about a year of use. Got replaced under warrantee, and the replacement also failed now, after about a year. Id say these drives are faulty quite often.
