> 24 hourAll pens worked, no duds. Opinions differ but for me nothing beats Microns. I always get a consistent, predictable, line with low-smudge, opaque, ink. Different pens have a different feel and I love the way Microns glide over vellum. I used to have a lot of quality control issues with the super-thin tips of size 005 pens which are notoriously easy to push back into the pen by the pressure of inking but lately that hasnt been an issue at all. Not sure if its an improvement in product quality of if Im having a lucky run. In either case go light when using 005s.

> 24 hourTheres a couple that seemed to be dry but I think thats intentional. I think its so they dont bleed. Take it slow and play around a little.

> 24 hourI bought these to try my hand at zentangle and these were recommended. I love the different sizes and since any kind of art using pens is new to me, I had no idea there was such a huge range. The ink flows consistently and no bleed through. I intend to buy more in the future. These are also great for journaling since my handwriting tends to be very small.

> 24 hourThe best, as always. Has professional results that hold up under all different types of media like watercolor or copics. Inexpensive and great for beginners. Smooth ink that flows evenly and tough nibs that wont bend as long as you dont abuse them. I have a $100 Rotring Isograph pen set for my artwork and I honestly prefer the microns! Just beware of fakes online. Wish has tons of knockoffs that look identical but are illegitimate microns. Make sure you research the seller with a critical mind- better yet buy from the official Sakura PIGMA Amazon seller or from your local craft store.

> 24 hourSo I did a test swatch on the paper I use for watercolor before I used the pens & Im so glad I did. They were not waterproof. I contacted the manufacturer (not seller) & asked if I had fakes or was I doing something wrong. I explained exactly how I tested it & they said it was the paper. The sizing wasnt allowing ink to fully set onto paper. So beware, test your exact paper before you start a project to make sure it wont run. 3 stars because I feel the package should warn that it should be tested 1st due to different papers affect results.

> 24 hourIf you want to make your lines stick out but cant stand the thickness of a sharpie. These are for you! Every artist wants their lines to stand out more. However, a sharpie is to thick and sometimes bleeds to harsh. Pigma micropenis have different sizes that are great for facial outlines, outlines in general, adding contracts or shadows, and adding development to the art. The cost is low for the quality and the amount of micro pens that you get.
