Greater than one weekThe best, as always. Has professional results that hold up under all different types of media like watercolor or copics. Inexpensive and great for beginners. Smooth ink that flows evenly and tough nibs that wont bend as long as you dont abuse them. I have a $100 Rotring Isograph pen set for my artwork and I honestly prefer the microns! Just beware of fakes online. Wish has tons of knockoffs that look identical but are illegitimate microns. Make sure you research the seller with a critical mind- better yet buy from the official Sakura PIGMA Amazon seller or from your local craft store.

> 3 dayI liked these however, they dried up much quicker than anticipated. I was not able to finish a few small art projects and the pens dried out.

> 3 dayI expected to have more of a variety of thicknesses with so many pens. But 5 were so much alike, I couldnt tell the difference.

> 3 daySo I did a test swatch on the paper I use for watercolor before I used the pens & Im so glad I did. They were not waterproof. I contacted the manufacturer (not seller) & asked if I had fakes or was I doing something wrong. I explained exactly how I tested it & they said it was the paper. The sizing wasnt allowing ink to fully set onto paper. So beware, test your exact paper before you start a project to make sure it wont run. 3 stars because I feel the package should warn that it should be tested 1st due to different papers affect results.

> 3 dayI just got my pens and they dont work. I think these are fake!!! The tips felt dried out as soon as I opened them and attempted to draw. STreaks everywhere and I have to go over the same spot 10 times to get them to work. Never buying from this seller again!

> 3 dayI like these Pens, they are very accurate, only disadvantage is that they are not easily refillable and started leaking after I refilled one(need to pull the nib, refill and put it back in) and I think they are built really well otherwise.. but that aside unless you have a more expensive set of repidographs, I think these guys are the next best thing for delicate inkwork.

> 3 dayI remember hearing some stories about these pens for a long time-- from both sides of the fence. After having a bit of hands-on experience with them, the pens are pretty nice in my opinion. The ink dries quick and its a nice, bold black. I like the brush pen especially. I have never used one before until recently, and I got to say, I was surprised at how it felt to use one. It feels as though youre painting, but with a bit more precision. Theyre pretty good pens overall, and I hope they last me quite a while.

> 3 dayI had gotten some illustration pens as a Christmas gift a couple years back, and without too much use, they ended up running dry. I was finishing up a project and I needed new ones that would work. These are at a good price level, its a pack of multiple sized micro-tips and I figured Id try them out - if they didnt work, not too much down the drain. Well! These exceeded every single bit of expectation I had for their ink flow, the pen tips and the overall quality of the pens. Number one, you get SIX different sized microtips, a graphic tip which is good for filling in and a brush tip that I absolutely LOVE. Secondly, the ink pigmentation, strength and quality; the color of the ink is nice and dark black, not an off black color that dries gray, the strength of the ink and quality is way beyond that of my former pens. It doesnt bleed beyond the space of the tip, nor have I managed to make it bleed through any paper and making fine dots with the smallest pen tip is super easy. I wanted to try these out on other surfaces besides paper (I have a bit of a thing for drawing on my hands) and much like any other ink, on skin it will smear a bit unless dried out with alcohol and dabbed dry, but on some porous plastics, when left to dry it will hold awesomely. What else can I say about these? Theyre awesome and extremely useful. Ill see after a year or two how good the ink holds up, I suspect theyll still be kicking strong.
