> 3 dayI was on the fence about these pens after reading some of the reviews but I also didn’t want to spend and arm and a leg just to practice drawing with ink. If you’re on the fence just BUY them! In my opinion they’re completely worth it, I’ve bought them twice now and have had no issues! They are smooth and easy to use, last for a while and add so much detail!

Greater than one weekThe best, as always. Has professional results that hold up under all different types of media like watercolor or copics. Inexpensive and great for beginners. Smooth ink that flows evenly and tough nibs that wont bend as long as you dont abuse them. I have a $100 Rotring Isograph pen set for my artwork and I honestly prefer the microns! Just beware of fakes online. Wish has tons of knockoffs that look identical but are illegitimate microns. Make sure you research the seller with a critical mind- better yet buy from the official Sakura PIGMA Amazon seller or from your local craft store.

Greater than one weekBecause I paint with watercolors it is important that the ink be waterproof. These pens are truly waterproof, without having to wait for days for ink to cure. What a pleasure. I have purchased inks that claimed to be waterproof that haven’t been. Since I wrote this review, things have CHANGED. I have used these pens in my artwork for years, and have never had a problem until this shipment. That is why I purchased them and assumed they would be waterproof as always. NOT this time! 2 of the pens were, but not the rest. If enough people report this problem, maybe they will look into what is going on. I’m going to give it some time and try again. When they are truly waterproof they are wonderful!

> 3 dayI use these pens for outlining the drawings I watercolor. I am someone who uses a lot of pressure when writing, and I have never had an issue with the tip on the pens breaking while using them. I have been using this brand of pens for years and they are 100% my favorite!

> 3 dayI absolutely love these pens however I do wish each one was a different color on the outside so it would make distinguishing size easier. Overall they’re great but be careful when using the smallest size because it’s so tiny it can’t handle tons of pressure. Also they do bleed and need a couple seconds to dry

> 3 dayNice pens. I bought these because different pens act differently on different mediums. I find many papers work well with my Rotrings, but many do not. For those that do not I find that marker tipped usually work really well, specifically the Microns. I mostly use Rotring 0.30, 0.35, and 0.40 sizes. The Micron 0.20mm does come out to draw a thinner line than my 0.30mm Rotring as expected. It looks nice, the black is black. Water-resistant as well. However the Micron 0.25mm line comes out the same width as my Rotring 0.40mm. This is off by a fair amount. The Micron 0.30mm is even wider than my Rotring 0.40. I would guess this is more around 0.50mm and not 0.30mm. The Micron 0.35mm is even wider yet which is more like a 0.60-0.70mm. The Micron 0.45mm is wider, etc. This may not mean much to most people, but the Micron sizing is really off compared to other pens. Maybe its the material itself which is really hard to process at these sizes compared to a metal nib of other pens. But just be aware if youre looking for a 0.35mm to use in place of your Rotring you wont find an exact replacement here. Close, but not exact. Which for most people this may not matter, I just found it interesting and thought Id put down my thoughts.
