> 3 dayI purchased this 7 months ago, and while it worked well at first, it began to deteriorate. By the 5 month point, I noticed the stitching on both of the straps where the nylon attaches at the bottom of the pad have come undone/unstitched. Then, much like the other users that have provided pictures, the top padded strap/handle has come started to rip out on both sides (left and right) on the front facing side. I travel a decent amount, however never is it abused. I use it as a normal carry on for my computer (15 normal laptop), etc. When not travelling, its a daily use bag, which only has a computer in it 50% of the time, so the other 50% of the time its only carrying a small amount of weight. I have begun the process of doing a warranty repair/replacement, however at the cost to ship it back and then receive it again, for an item that is obviously flawed (see all the other reviews citing this exact same type of damage/tearing) Im not sure I want to spend that money on it - especially when its very likely to just tear apart again. For the price of it, I cannot recommend it.

> 3 dayI purchased this backpack as a gift for my daughter who moved out of state to attend grad school. The backpack has many pockets, the padding for her electronics and is very functional. Our biggest concern is that the straps are a bit flimsy. Our biggest concern is that the straps will break quickly because they’re not that thick for the weight it’ll carry. Time will tell

> 3 daySeemed great, but zipper broke 60 days after purchase. Not durable, and that’s one of the main reason I got it.

> 3 dayI had a very similar backpack for several years. It has flown all over the south and east as well as used as my daily laptop and accessory backpack. The original one finally gave up a zipper. The location would have not allowed repair to be strong enough but with all of what I put the original through I went the same route. This is slightly different in style but appears to be made just as well. I am sure I will get several more years of high wear out of this one. It looks professional as well as functional. Well worth the money.

> 3 dayHad some stray threads which I need to cut off upon receipt but has held up well over several months of travel and daily use. Layout is very fuctional while being sleek/professional. Very pleased, and great value.

Greater than one weekIve been searching for a bag for my two to three hour commute on DC public transit and finally found it. I started over a year ago by visiting one of the largest REIs, Eddie Baur and North Faces stores. I also searched multiple online stores including Chrome, Ortlieb and Osprey. My needs my be different than everyone else. I needed structurally constructed with pockets, beverage holder, waterproof with a moderately professional style. In other words nothing with cartoons or any of the like. I didnt want my items to change to shape of my bag either. Every single other backpack was missing something. I finally wandered into travel backpacks. One of them was shipped folded in half in a thin box for a backpack. Same price as my current bag but poorly constructed and had a faux leather covering on the outside. I didnt notice it in the pics online. Found Swiss Gear and Samsonite and knew Samsonite would just be better made. I love this bag.
