I tried other SSD cards by other brands and they get overheated. Samsung just keeps on going.

Installation was a bit more tricky than usual but it was fully functional when installed. Storage amount as advertised. Unfortunately, two months later the SSD stops working and causes the Pc to enter an infinite loop unless disconnected. Presumably this is just a damaged SSD, and otherwise it would be fine. Unfortunately I can’t find a way to exchange it.

Right off the bat!! Tested health and performance of this item and another SSD of the exact features but priced 4 times cheaper. This Samsung 860 QVO, show Performance level as Excellent with 80% health status. Whereas the cheaper brand, shows 80% Performance and 100% Health. I chose the Health over performance and keept $80 more in my pocket.

I got the 2TB drive for $213, and no mounting screws were included. Youd think a company with such high margins would include standard hardware with their SSDs. Youre better off with another brand, for a better value.

It doesnt take fancy speed testers. This hard drive will make your computer obviously faster in anyones opinion! My 2014ish HP Envy laptop went from a 3minute startup to 30seconds! Video editing, 3D modeling, and other intensive tasks are also much improved! You need a basic knowledge of computer maintenance to install it, but its an easy thing to do overall and well worth it!

I already know the performance boost of putting an SSD and cloning your HDD onto it. This is about the cheapest way to liven up an aging PC. Just keep in mind you may need to update to the latest BIOS, but if your system was made in the past 5 or 6 years, as long as it has SATA support, you can install an SSD. Money well spent.

I put this into an external enclosure. It is fast, large capacity (for an SSD), and has stood up to extensive use over the last three weeks. This is a good product.

Boot up 4x faster than conventional hard disk drives. Store hours of 4K videos and thousands of photos with terabyte-level storage. Protected by a 3-year warranty.
