Greater than one weekConfig: 2tb qvo (mfg 2019/11) installed in Ps4 pro. Well worth the price, especially for narrative driven games with lots of transitions and cut scenes. Compared to the cost of hdr tv’s, very cheap for the value. I tried 2 firecuda 2tb drives, both had trouble with file system recovery. The 2tb QVO recovers quickly and reliably. Update: no issues after 2 months use and several unclean shutdowns. Much easier to jump in and out of games.

31-05-2025I use this for my C drive on an HP desktop and it flies. Everything performs much faster than when using a conventional hard drive. It was difficult for me to install because I am not skilled in that area but my shortcomings were the problem, not the SSD.

> 3 dayI love the fast boot times compared to HDDs (especially when you have to restart your computer multiple times to install something). I was in the market for an ssd for quite a while now and I didnt have much money to spend. I saw this one day and thought that it could give me something that everyone wants: bang for your buck. Indeed it did but it was very difficult to copy everything from my macbooks hard drive to the ssd and make it bootable. I used SuperDuper! to do that and it took forever and I got many error codes but after contacting the devs I finally got it to work. Thats not Samsungs fault though, it is mostly Apples, and macos Mojave. Once it is in the computer, the upgrade is definitely noticeable and applications are much faster and gaming is even more possible. Overall, it was not easy to install in mac simply because of copying data but everything else is well worth the upgrade.

> 3 dayI mean, the headline kind of says most of it. Ive had it installed for about a week as my main games library drive. Everything transferred over from the SSD I had been using (a Crucial MX300 525GB SSD) with haste. As is par for the course for an SSD. I dont know the read/write speeds, but Im not looking for a performance SSD for loading games. Its quick enough for my use case. I might buy another to retire my first SSD (a PNY something or another). Which is to say I would/will buy again.

Greater than one weekWorks good enough for what I need (unraid cache pool for writes and VMs). Not sure about the value now that the 860 EVO is only $297.99 ($40 more) and has almost twice the write endurance. Was going to get another QVO but I think I will get the EVO while it is on sale. Update (5.13.19): Now it is $297 (2TB EVO) vs $227 (2TB QVO). QVO might be worth it again. Id like to see it get down to $199 though.

> 3 daySo far so good, faster boot time over the replaced SSD. Will report problems if encountered. Most items average about 7 % on the one star reviews, this drive is currently 3 %. Good indicator of a successful product.

Greater than one weekGlad to see prices on larger capacity SSDs coming down. Replaced my secondary mechanical hard drive with one of these and loading games feels just as fast as my boot drive.
