This is a fast drive. Careful, other similar SATA 3 drives say 6 GB speed, vs 560 MB/s on this, but its just a mistake. (this is meant for non IT savvy people). SATA III is rated 6 gigabit per second (Gbps). 1 gigabit per second is about 125 megabytes per second (MB/s). 1 byte is 8 bits. Gb/s are usually used for transfer speeds, bytes are used more for storage speed, (there are valid reasons behind this, if you really want to know just google it ...)

I went looking for a SSD for upgrading my ps4. It was easy to do. It took 5 minutes to do everything and about 45 minutes for my saved game files to transfer and update the newest patch.
