Used it in my Alienware area 51m in the hdd slot. was worried because the manual was recommending a 1To HDD but in the end everything was good and is still good for now. Hope it will last for years.

Data transfer is as advertised. Bench mark test shows 550Mb/sec Read, 530Mb/sec Write. Easy to install, plug and use. Clone took 1:31 to complete from 5400 rpm HDD, using Samsung SSD data transfer.

No problems. It performs as it should.

Installed as per Samsungs instruction, so far work well, increase boot time very fast, strongly recommend. Samsung is came with its own software for cloning, others product is using third party software for cloning.

Item is defective. After installed, my Mac failed to read the drive in order to format for use. Item was returned

I purchased this SSD to put into my Acer laptop as a secondary drive to the 512 GB M.2 which runs the Operating system. The M.2 had started to become a bit full as I havent yet been able to get video and lossless music backed up onto hard drives on my desktop system and I wanted to move them onto the secondary drive.

For the price point and storage space, I have to say it has served well as my main Game drive. I may even get another when I am able to afford one again.

Works great and the quality is obvious. Lot of and lots of storage with the 4TB. A bit on the pricey side, but then, one usually has to pay for quality--and you often get what you pay for ... and I believe I did in this case!

Very easy to install and set up. This is my second one and they have been completely reliable so far.

Bought for me as a gif for PS4 Pro. Based on current market in late 2020, any 2TB SSD is going to be in the $200 range. A few weeks ago my standard HD went out in my PS4 and I wanted an upgrade when I was going to replace it. Long story short, awesome upgrade. No storage issues any more and great performance. Watch some videos for speed comparison from a standard HD. I would estimate that it is a 20-30% increase in load times when actually playing load screens. Boot up time in incredibly faster and even downloading content with good internet is notable faster. Over all, great upgrade to a standard hard drive. I recommend buying the 2TB to get more of an upgrade if using for the PS4. $200 isn’t cheap but you’re doubling stock storage at SSD speeds. Install is super easy. Simply down load current system software to thumb drive from Sony’s website. (Minor formatting required). Install hard drive. ( YouTube has lots of easy to follow videos) Plug thumb drive into back of PS4. Start in safe mode by holding power button until you hear 2 beeps and follow on screen instructions. ( this was to install new drive. If copying or duplicating from another drive, a couple more steps are involved) Good luck and enjoy.
