> 3 dayI watched a bunch of YouTube videos on cloning my hard drive to this new SSD, along with how to install it, and successfully did so about a week ago. I purchased my computer in 2016, so I guess that makes it old. After cloning and installation, I had a few issues when booting up so watched more videos on how to get into the BIOS screen; once I edited my booting sequence, it seemed okay. The next day when I turned the computer on after a complete shut down, I got the blue screen of death again, so (after more videos) I created a windows installation media device from a USB (from my other computer) and had to go through a bit more trouble shooting to finally get the computer to work properly (and still kept all the files on my drive! Yay me!). I was going to give 4 stars because my experience wasnt flawless, but Im not sure if that is due to the cloning software Samsung provides or something I did. My computer is old and now super fast - crossing fingers that it will continue working great for a few (many) more years! :)

> 3 daySSD drive made a believer out of me. I was skeptical, but I cloned the OS over, unplugged it, switched it out with my old hard drive and this bad boy just worked great. I cant emphasize how much it seems like I got a new super charged computer. For $100 I basically have a new computer that does everything lightning fast now. It used to take several minutes to boot up and be usable, now it may be 20 seconds.

> 3 dayInstalled it in my Xbox one X. Other than the pain of tearing apart the Xbox and partitioning the drive in the special Xbox format, it has performed perfectly.

> 3 dayI wouldn’t take a chance buying an off brand SSD drive for my system. Going with name brands such as Samsung or SanDisk is the only way to go. I’m very happy with this drive and its performance. I do not fear data loss. Makes for a screaming start up drive.

> 3 dayI bought this based on everything you need to upgrade, blah, blah, blah. Of course, all you get is a bare drive in a box with no instructions. They point you to a website that is mostly for blenders and refrigerators. You finally find the page for SSDs. The problem is, the page doesnt work with Chrome or that silly Microsoft browser whose name escapes me. Then you search on Google, which points you to an almost unreadable guide with low-res screen shots about all the other things you have to buy if you want to actually USE the drive.

> 3 daySome people are quick to say they note some improvement in frame rate, screen image rendering and fewer artifacts and glitches. Others will say the change had by adding this SSD is not that Earth Shattering. Always remember on gaming consoles your throughput and thus your performance in game is limited by your slowest device. By upgrading your mechanical hard drive to far faster SSD speeds you changed your consoles bottleneck dynamic.
