> 3 dayPurchased it as an additional drive to store games. A must note for those who are buying it as a secondary drive. The SSD does NOT come with screw so you might have to source for your own screw. Otherwise, product worked as intended.

> 3 dayI have 2x 512GB and 4x 1TB version of these installed in my own systems at home and many more at work. So far they have been very reliable and I have not had any defects or failures. I speed-test all of them to make sure that Samsung did not cheat by swapping chips on them, and so far all of them perform very consistently at the exact same level.

> 3 dayInstalled in HP OMEN 17-cb0040nr on the second NVMe slot. Installation is a snap with M.2, seat it correctly in the slot, push it down to the mounting point and install the heat sink and screw.

> 3 dayProduct reviewed is the 970 EVO 2TB. Really easy to install. I bought the first one to upgrade my Windows 11 computer; I noticed a substantial increase in performance from my previous storage devices and have since moved all of my games to my 970 EVO 2TB. The second time I purchased the 2TB I actually bought a 500GB as well (also Samsung) when I was building my wife a new computer that runs Linux POP_OS, both storage devices are running awesomely and were easy to mount. I just barely bought the third one for my daughter and taught her how to install it in her PC. If I need another one, Im confident in buying this same product.

> 3 dayI have a Linux Mint operating system (~10GB) + my home directory (~100GB) installed on this drive with about 112GB free. Boot-up is mindbogglingly fast. Backup is on an internal hard drive and multimedia is on an external large-capacity hard drive. This is one sweet drive and more than enough for me. Its been up for several months now and has survived a power supply failure which required replacing the P.S.

> 3 dayeasy installation if you already have a screw to secure. I luckily found I already had a screw on my motherboard for this and the installation went well. Just speaking for myself, though I hope this might offer some help for others with similar circumstances, after I physically installed the drive, I still had to get the operating system to recognize the drive. For me, on Windows 11, I opened disk management, found the new disk, right clicked it, and chose to create a simple volume which worked well.
