> 3 daySamsung is one of the top manufactures of SSDs. I have three external NVMe drives and the drive in my PC is a 1TB NVMe. SSDs are the thing and NVMe is the current winner vis a vis speed. I will never go back to rotating storage. Im using an Orico enclosure for this drive. Also highly recommended. All three of my external NVMe drives are in Orico enclosures.

18-11-2024Been using multiple 500 GB SSDs for a while. Consolidated my boot/program drives to one of these along with mechanical drives for photo/video archives. Cloned my drive with dd and was able to expand the partition with no issues. While 1 Tb is best in terms of value, 2 TB is worth the $200 I paid last year.
