This is a really solid monitor if youre looking for a borderless 144hz monitor. But the good ends there. The picture quality is decent but it lacks color. No matter how long i spent adjusting and oversaturating the colors they just seemed bland and dim. This monitor is notorious for ghosting and low contrast; something that isnt brought up in any reviews on Amazon or even from thr Samsung website. Yes you get a borderless 144hz monitor. But I would strongly recommend a different monitor if you plan on a competitive gaming career in your free time

The colors and the quality is great, but there is so much ghosting that it gives me a headache when playing fast-paced games, like FPSes, so if youre not bothered by a motion-blur like effect when you play games, this is a fine monitor Also, the menu is incredibly limited, only offering bare minimum tweaks to try and combat this ghosting problem, like contrast and brightness, but no option for pixel overdriving that I could find It didnt come with any dead pixels, the stand is a little tall for my liking since the minimum height is 3-5 inches off the desk surface, causing me to have to crane my head up or pump my chair up higher in order to be eye level with it Set-up was easy, just had to restart the computer to attach it and restart it again to get it working Overall, Im going to be returning it because the ghosting for me is intolerable and I cant use a monitor that gives me a headache

Monitor is great to start off, the down sides to it is if you got a small desk and want to use a mouse and keyboard the stand it big but other than that the monitor is great

This is a normal sized monitor with fast frame rate and a highly adjustable stand. The stand is not tool free to set up (6 screws are included, screwdriver required). It is pretty sophisticated with many adjustable angles. It’ll take up quite a bit more desk space due to needing to accommodate up to 30 degrees of rotation while maintaining stability. Tilting forward and backward and elevating it up and down are quite simple – simply push and it will stay at its new position. There is enough resistance to let you put a webcam and other light objects on top. Rolling it like a steering wheel, the monitor will rotate 90 degrees to each side. There are notches in the center position to ensure that the monitor is level when you want it to be. If you frequently move the left/right sides forward and backwards, the monitor offers a way to do it without having to lift the monitor or scrape the desk. Using with a laptop as a 2nd display, the display has to be manually configured to 144hz. Both HDMI and Displayport work fine. Viewing things at 144hz, I got a bit of motion sickness initially, which means it is working. The matte screen performs well against reflections. Nothing particularly wrong with the colors. I didn’t spot any dead pixels. I measured 28W of power consumption at max brightness – normal power use for a monitor of this size. The L plug may work well or poorly depending on where you plug it in. I hope that in the future more lower power devices such as monitors are powered by smaller and more space efficient type C. 1080p is a bit low for a 27” screen but also absolutely good enough for enjoying entertainment, especially if you sit a little bit further away. It leaves something to be desired in terms of screen real estate for productivity. For most people, resolution should be more important than framerate. But high framerate has a benefit even if you aren’t a playing competitive games – aside from feeling ever so smoother, if you record the screen this will also allow you to see smoother slow motion replays. For people who have eyesight problems, higher framerates may also offer an alternative way to increase enjoyment. This monitor has a white power indicator LED light on the right side. I like that you don’t see it when you are directly in front of the monitor. Some other monitors put the LED in front which is annoying for using the monitor. The menu is not difficult to navigate but you will likely be using the buttons by touch as the buttons are behind the monitor. There is a harmless ~9mm of bezel. At $269.99, price is about normal for a monitor of this feature set. If you’re looking at 144hz then frame rate is obviously important to you, and this monitor works well delivering high frame rates.

Brightness was fine and build quality seemed ok but I hardly used it. The ghosting was terrible. Especially on darker screens the ghosting was incredibly bad.

Purchased this for my nephew. He loves how the monitor adjusts to several heights and angles.
