> 3 dayNice product! Bought it at a huge discount. The speed was as fast as advertised, as well as the storage. It is light-weight enough to get carried around without noticing it, and it is also very convenient with the universal type-c port. The body is made of Aluminum, which can reduce the thermal stress. Overall, there is nothing too much to complain about it.

> 3 dayFirst test was looking bad slow, but I always recheck, and second test the drive was as fast as the sabrent rocket nano, and runs cooler. The larger surface area of the case likely makes better cooling. I dont know why my first crystaldisk mark showed the drive as very slow, as well as copying a 120gb image file. Second test after ejecting and plugging it back in was much better, but the 1 slow test prevents me from giving the drive 5* rating.

> 3 dayI have several of these Samsung drives, 1TB and 2TB. They are compact, lightweight, fast and easy. I can use them with my desktop, laptop and phone to backup and readily have anything quickly and easily available.

> 3 dayThe only reason this thing dosent get five stars is that the usb c is flimsy on my MacBook Pro. And since it gives me a chance to throw shade at Samsung over Apple I’ll do it. Lmao.

> 3 dayFirst of all, I did not initially get great results in read/write speeds. I installed a USB 3.1 gen 2 PCIE card and ordered a new USB 3.1 gen 2 cable...then tested again with MP4 files, music files, etc. My results were MUCH better. I ran CrystalDiskMark 6.0.2 X64 and got 558.5 mbps reads and 518.4 mbps writes. On a regular USB 3.0 slot, I was around 340/345. So, if your connections are up to this drives capabilities, youll see phenomenal results. I use this drive for backups on my laptop (and to transfer files from my PC)...and Im very happy with it. See the benchmark files attached.
