Bought to use for my Xbox One X as a faster hard drive to load games. No issues so far. Easy to install.

I was able to copy data to this from a Mac, and then unable to access it through the Mac! Samsung’s tech support didn’t mention that the software required to access the sad, was no longer compatible with Mac’s OS. They also said that it had to be plugged in every few weeks to retain the data. Be careful! It seemed so nice and compact, that I’d bought another one before finding out this.

It does not work with Mac OS, the latest 1.6.3 upgrade from Samsung does not run either on the desk to, lap top or iPad it just stalls it’s an utter disaster and no one to turn to

So what, the first one wouldnt format...Amazon had another one sent to my doorstep by 6am (6 hr replacement), and I was right back to business! Ive purchased 2 more since then and flawless victory!! I plan to but another 2 soon.

Ive been using this SSD backup for some months now for an HP Envy 1TB laptop, and I just love it. The best thing is that it operates exactly as a hard drive, meaning it can be plugged into any device to retrieve files. No incompatible software issues to deal with, as you might have to deal with using a dedicated backup drive containing proprietary software. Its fast as can be using the lightning cable, and Ive experienced no read/write or retrieval errors. Love the huge storage capacity.
