I intended to use this for all of my files which amount to roughly 790 GB. When I tried to copy the files onto this disk, it said there wasnt enough space and that an additional 230 GB would be required. Now my math skills may not be the best but if you subtract 230 GBs from the 790 GBs I was trying to copy you get 560 GBs. In my book 560 GBs is less that 1,000 GBs or 1 TB. Reformatted the disk, tried to copy it twice, checked the size of the folders I wanted to copy twice and came up with the same thing every time. I was looking forward to using this disk but it fell short of my expectations.

Super fast, very portable drive. I store everything from pictures, movies and music on here. I definitely recommend solid state.
