Greater than one weekIt is very handy for storing your files on an external drive, but it has never achieved the declared write/read speeds when plugged to the USB c port. It is light and a rubberized case gives a feeling that it can handle accidental drops from waistline heights. Have not dropped it yet so I do not know for sure, that.
