Exactly what I wanted - its so small and has excellent capacity. I loaded up my entire music library and plugged it in to the dash of my car. Youd never know it was there. Only problem is, the fit is so snug, and the lip of the drive is so small, I cant grasp it to remove it! The lip is just a bit of plastic. Im afraid if I try to remove it with a tool Im going to crack it.

I will preface this by saying that I had to order a replacement right away as my first one showed up melted inside the packaging to where it wouldnt even fit into a USB port if I would try. My second one showed up and seemed to be in perfect condition, so I got to using it right away. Formatting took a strangely long time, using default settings. I thought nothing of it at first blaming windows. Creating a folder on the device locked up my windows explorer for about 10 seconds which raised suspicions, but blamed the OS again. Then transferring files from one device to another took significantly longer than many other flash drives I have. I tested it on my android device, another PC, and even a PS4. This thing is just very slow when making any changes to the contents of the device. Reading performs well enough, but certainly slower than others I have. Even moving files from one folder to another within the drive takes a few seconds to even start the operation. All in all, it works. Maybe I just have bad luck with these, but if thats all you need, this is okay. If you need better perfomance out of a low profile USB drive, get a Samsung Fit. Those work without any of theissues mentioned above.

While this SanDisk drive is easy to use and quite fast there are some limits. First limit is the USB A connector. Most recent laptop/desktop computer manufactures have switched to USB C, which requires the buyer to seek an adapter and may limit the speed of the USB 3 connection. Second once the user places the drive to the USB port and wishes to remove the drive to another machine getting the drive out can be a challenge. Plastic is flimsy and easy to break if the user uses a cord or rope like puller. While I like the drive the case construction is not great.

This thing is small, so it is easy to miss. (would be nice if it come with a yam loop for holding for that reason.) For the same token its good to use as extended storage for tablet (which is expansive to get more storage) by taping it to the USB port. Its small physical size and smooth shape makes it extend out very little and not noticeable. (Cheap way to get Surface pro storage increased by 512MB!) Wish they would have USB-C version also

I had almost 100 Hi8 tapes to digitize using a VIDEO2DIGITAL® CONVERTER 3.0 (THIRD GENERATION). They recommended using a SanDisk USB drive for its speed and quality. I used the 256GB size and it worked flawlessly. It is hard to believe I have 30+ years of old home made movies in a drive the size of a fingernail. I made copies of them and attached paper key tags to label them. Then I gave them to my sister and grown up daughters as birthday presents. What could be a better present than their memories? I also bought a USB to Type C adapter and can take all of these videos with me to show on my Android phone. Amazing!

I dont know how many Ive bought now. I did crack one and lost all the data that was in it, hence the minus one star. I would be raving about it if it had been durable enough to withstand taking the brunt of the fall when my laptop slid off a low chair. I keep it inserted all the time. So when my laptop fell, the flash drive cracked from the pressure of being crushed between the floor and my laptop.

Ive had it now for 16 months and havent had any problems with it. I use it to record 1080p TV shows from a computer TV tuner, play video games, listen to music , watch movies, and store encrypted files. I have it hooked up to my computer through a 3.0 hub so I havent had any heat issues with it.

Forget using a USB stick in a vehicle, with the thing sticking out so far you cant change gears. This memory thumb drive is small enough that no one will even notice its presence.

I just plugged it to my laptop and I started saving documents with no issue!
