Like most people, I have used my fair share of flash drives and have seen a lot of good and bad designs - different shapes, sizes, connector caps, retractable connectors. I needed a really good, high-capacity flash drive that I could keep in my computer bag. I travel a lot and felt the description of durable and temperature proof was an indication of build quality and design. Wow! This drive has the worst design and build quality of any flash drive Ive every held. Thin plastic with a very cheap, hollow feel to the unit and the slide action is horribly designed - not smooth at all, often sticking open or closed. Pros: + it works at storing data + plastic loop on underside for attaching to keys/lanyard Cons: - slider design is horrible - often locks open/closed - build quality overall is cheap

SanDisk come through again. Needed this size and functionality.

It takes 1 hour just for it to transfer 10 GB of files. It seems to be slower than my 10 year old USB 2.0 sandisk. I am not pleased with the extremely slow transfer rate and I dont feel it is worth the $20 during this day and age, considering how quick other USB drives are.

I purchased these for our Detectives. Working cases can require a lot of paper and files and folders. We use these to save on the paper and also to better utilize our files. Sandisk has always ben a brand I can trust and this flash drive has not let me down. I frequently use these and delete and re-submit data. This flash drive has not failed and gives a great rendition of the information copied to it.
