If trying to play the Switch in hand-held mode hurts your hands, this is the solution.

I really hope Satisfye is able and willing to address these design issues which I believe if addressed would make for an all-around fantastic accessory package, because the grip and concave thumb pads feel extremely satisfying to the touch which very rightfully so may have inspired the brand name. HOWEVER-- 1) The grip is not as snug as it should be. I noticed that when I pushed up on the left stick with normal but enough force, the left side of the Switch shifts a bit inside the grip, enough to feel and hear the faint creaking sound of plastic rubbing on plastic. 2) The Joy-Cons are made of very soft plastic, to a point where even finger friction from normal use is enough to gradually shine up the areas around the buttons and d-pad. The hard plastic of the grip presses and slides against the Joy-Cons each time the Switch is inserted or removed from the grip, causing gradual wear lines, if not complete scratches as some people have complained of experiencing. 3) The thumb pads hinder the full mobility of the thumb sticks. It takes a slight amount of extra force to squish the underside of the pads and fully actuate the thumb stick, but its less than ideal. It doesnt bother me enough to take them off personally, but I can see how it can be bothersome to many others. I included in my pictures a relatively manageable electrical tape mod I did to the grip to remedy both the loose fit and the scuffing. I trimmed and applied tape to the underside of the top lip edges that press against the face edges of the sides of the Switch, the whole length of the rounding that cradles the back edges of the sides of the Switch, the curved area that the bottom corners of the Switch rest on, as well as a few points on the back of the grip where I noticed wear marks from rubbing against the Joy-Cons. If one wishes to attempt this fix, I suggest using ones intuition and handiness rather than trying to follow my instructions as its a bit hard for me to describe and capture on camera. From a designers perspective I would imagine that the thumb pads would be the most difficult thing to adjust although I could be wrong. The bottom lip of the thumb pads needs to be reduced in thickness, and to accomplish that a stiffer rubber may be needed to be selected so the thumb pad doesnt slip off, because the current rubber is a fairly flexible and soft type. The grip however Id imagine would be a lot simpler to address. In place of the red rubber bumpers, I have a hunch that some sort of lining or padding over the hard plastic of the grip would suffice in simultaneously holding the Switch securely as well as eliminating the possibility of scuffs. After a bit of modding with tape, I can say that Im completely happy with the grip, especially because the tape completely invisible with the Switch is inserted, and also because theres a sense of reward in fixing stuff. The thumb pads however nice they feel, do leave me wanting more whenever I forget theyre there and I notice my character walking instead of running because the thumb stick isnt actuated all the way. I really hope this reaches Satisfye and is of some service. Last pic included to show how aesthetically pleasing everything is.

I have had and used this Switch Grip for years now and i love it. I have huge hands and the ergonomics of the switch are pretty terrible. After about 1 hour of playing my hands were seriously fatigued without this grip, but with it I have little to no pain at all. **DO NOT BUY IF YOU HAVE SWITCH OLED** I picked up my Switch OLED today and it doesnt comfortably fit in the grip due to the increased size of the console as stated in the questions above. But it COULD fit with force which i HIGHLY dont recommend, especially with some reports of the rubber already squeezing the original switch pretty tightly.

I really only played my Switch on the dock, so I never really thought to pick something like this up. Lately, Ive been watching TV and playing so my hands have been cramping up pretty bad. Bought the grip and it has made a world of difference. If you play at all handheld it is 100% worth it. I also purchased one for my gf for her Switch Lite and that is also amazing. One thing to note is it makes it slightly heavier. Also, even though its advertised to be able to stand up a normal person would never use it like that since it will be standing straight up. The grips are also asymmetrical but I havent had any complaints with it. If you use the thumb grips, make sure to recalibrate your joycons.

Gives your Switch a much more natural feel in handheld mode. Very well designed. I regret that I only bought the grip. I wish Id just bought the bundle. Ill be giving my nephew the grip and purchasing the bundle for myself. I want a couple of the joy con trips also. This is without a doubt THE must have accessory. Dont need the joystick cushion things though.

This product does exactly what it promises. It adds a little substance to hold on in a much more comfortable way for those extended gaming sessions.

This is an essential Switch purchase. Its the first grip that Ive bought, and I have no inclination to get another. Its absolutely perfect. It feels like the Pro Controller but with smaller buttons and a grippy back. If you have a Switch that youre going to play handheld, get this. It also came with some analog stick covers. So far I like them, so Ill be keeping them on one small issue is that theyre big so the right one end up making the stick even closer to the face buttons. Even if you dont want the analog covers, this grip is essential. Edit: I see that these have nearly doubled in price since I bought mine. I don’t think they’re worth their current price to be honest. I bought mine at $23.99 and felt good about it. $40 for a mass produced hunk of molded plastic is kind of steep.
