Much better than buying several packets of needles. The box saves space and is much more convenient to use. This is a preferred style of packaging if you use very many needles of the same type (like on a serger). This also brings the cost of the needle down so that you are more likely to replace a needle (or needles) when they should be.

It is so nice to not need to run to the fabric store for another needle. There are 100 needles of the right size in my sewing supply drawer! I have set a system where each 8 (or so) hours of sewing I change the needle. It is better for my sewing, It is better for my machine, It is MUCH better for my patience. I highly recommend Schmetz. I highly recommend having more than a few sewing needles of the right size available all the time. I sew on a Singer. It likes Schmetz too.

I have always purchased this particular brand of needles and Ive been seeing for 20 plus years. I love them and they work great. I just wish the price was more reasonable. That is the only reason for 4 stars.

I recently ordered two packages of Schmetz sewing machine needles. This brand is my favorite because they are wonderful, stitch well, and are very durable. I have always preferred Schmetz needles and I love always having a supply. I do a lot of quilting and its great knowing I wont have to go to the store in the middle of a project.

Schmetz needles in the packages of 5 are pricey and I run out at inopportune times. I was happy to find this box of 100, which means I can keep a sharp needle in the machine as stitches are noticeably more uniform with a fresh needle.

As a quilter, I go through tons of needles. These are perfect for many of my projects and there is always a spare. Sharp and ready to go.

I live in a tiny town and have to travel an hour just to get needles for my machine. I am very happy that I found these on Amazon. Now I can change my needles and not have to remember if I need needles when I go shopping. They work just as well as the ones in the 5 pack on the cards.

Use them in my Viking and they are great.
