Scotch Thermal Laminator, 2 Roller System for a Professional Finish, Use for Home, Office or School, Suitable for use with Photos (TL901X)

Our laminator at school broke, so I bought this for laminating the little stuff. After I ran my first item through, I could not even believe how high the quality of laminating was. This little thing is a champ and it’s so quiet I couldn’t even tell it was on at first.

After several years of frequent use, my original Scotch laminator bit the dust. I definitely got my moneys use of it! Im not a fan of this new model at all. I never worried about my pages not being lined up exactly when they went through the machine. The tray made sure they went through perfectly. Although the new model is sleek and slim, I have messed up a few pages because they were not lined up perfectly with the grooves. The laminating quality is still great, but its just not as easy to use. Bring the tray back, Scotch, please!

I didnt know laminators had gotten so inexpensive and this still does as nice a job as my old one that was 3x the cost and that I donated to my old workplace. Thankfully, this was affordable and delivered same day so that I didnt have to mess with the stupid laminator adhesive sheets my current company uses - who wants to try stickering front and back sides of 40 pages!! This unit heats quickly, offers the 3 and 5 mil settings, and pulls through easily. I did run my sheets through twice just to try and get a little extra color pop from heating the laserjet color ink on my photos. I made 5 laminated booklets of teaching photo sheets for 5th graders and they came out great! Looking forward to making some more educational materials and also using this little gem around the house to protect some keepsakes that will be fine going through the heat.

This laminator was a great value for the money. It works exactly as intended and I have had no issues with it so far.

This is a nice laminator! Very easy to use. Just make sure you align the laminating film.

I needed to do a bit of laminating at home, and I did not want a big machine like the ones at my job. When I saw this one, I really thought it would be perfect. The size was exactly like I wanted. It was Scotch, which is a brand I have used successfully in the past. And, I liked the price. I received it, I laminated with it, and I was very happy with the results! I am picky too, like for example, no air- bubbles! (You know what I mean!) I would recommend it to a loved one.

This is perfect for what I was looking for. It has two heat settings and works well for my small size projects (bookmarks, etc.) and letter size projects.l

This is my third laminator. I love that it feeds from front to back and that you feed it straight and not at an angle. Because I feed it straight, i dont have to worry too much about how im feeding it(if that makes sense) I feel that the ones that you feed at an angle you tend to miss feed more often. Also, feeding it front to back is more convenient, as the laminated sheets aren’t piling up in front of you. The only flaw, which I can live with, is the the ridges to align the sheets(on mine) is crooked so it can be misleading when feeding the sheets. Other than that, its perfect. It heads up quick and laminates well!
