I love how concentrated it is. Saves me a lot of money in the long run since I have a lot of water I need to condition weekly.

Not sure what happened with this product. When it arrived I believe the bottle was leaking though nothing was wet there was a bad smell and white flaky residue on the bottle and on the other items in the box. I didnt think anything of it as nothing was damaged and the bottle was still pretty full. I had rescued a betta fish and he had some minor fin rot before using this but his condition just kept getting worse. At first I thought it was because I changed his tank twice then once I got him settled I thought it was his water. After testing it, making sure it was the right temperature and doing frequent water changes his condition kept getting worse and so I decided that maybe it was this conditioner. I just want to say also that it did smell fishy but I read that this was normal because of the ingredients in it and there was no actual expiration date on the bottle just a code. I ended up buying a different one with aloe it and the very next day I noticed clear edges growing on the fins of the betta. So clearly this was the problem because I didnt do anything else different. Maybe there was something wrong with the bottle that I got, not sure, Im just sharing my experience.

Seachem is the absolute best for water chemistry products for the aquarium and Prime is another superb product. It is super powerful and a little bit goes a long way. Not only does it remove chlorine and chloramine, but in urgent situations can convert ammonia and nitrite into a non-toxic form for your aquarium life. This is simply the best water conditioner out there and there really is no reason to purchase any other brand.

This stuff smells but does wonders for the water in your aquarium. I use it to make my tap water ready for aquarium use. It takes the chlorine and impurities out of your tap water which are harmful for you aquarium inhabitants. Works great for setting up new aquariums.

If youve had aquariums for a while, youve no doubt tried other products designed to remove harmful chemicals from tap water -- and youve probably still lost a fish or two during partial water changes. I strongly recommend trying SeaChem. Ive been using this for about three years now, and during that time, I have not lost a single fish during a partial water change -- not even when I had let the tank go for a while and had to exchange nearly half of the water. This stuff is great, and it wont mess up the balance of the good bacteria in your tank. I refuse to use anything but!

i decided to try this line of aquarium products because after reading the literature on it, it seemed the more innovative direction to take in striving for creating optimal turtle tank conditions. i have had great results with seachems purigen, which is a re-chargeable substitute for carbon in your aquarium filter.....if u inow turtles, they are very dirty and consequently, i was spending a great deal on carbon, which is really just a throw away after one use. anyhow, the prime product is used when u do water changes and when i first saw the size. the bottle, it seemed so small until i read the instructions....you only use a teaspoon for 50 gallons. the combination of the seachem products is resulting in better test results on my ammonia, nitrite and nitrate levels and i dont have to do as much maintenance on the filter and the tank it seems. i would heartily recommend this product and plan to continue on with ordering items in their line!!

Great stuff. My biggest tank is 10 gallons so it will last me forever. All my fish and shrimp are wonderfully healthy. My shrimp have no problem despite the iron content in my water.
