Seachem Pristine Aquarium Treatment, 500ml (001438)

Keeps my African cichlid tank clean and the sludge to a minimum. Keeps water looking and smelling good!

Have used for years. Have 65 and 120 tanks, fresh water

I normally use prime and stability. With pristine do I drop the prime? My 125g tank has 2 parrot fish, an oscar, a severum and a few blue dot gouramies. Struggling with water quality so hoping thisll be better than buying a 2nd fx6

Tested out smaller bottle but it runs out too quickly so the bigger bottle is better valved. Use this for every water change on my four aquariums

I thought would change the water quality but not change any also This product doesnt even smell. like just water they are selling water lol

I finally got my tank cycled/balanced and it looked pretty good. I heard people talking about having amazingly clear water after using Pristine. I use other Seachem products, so I decided to give it a try. Its expensive! but I thought it would be worth it. Unfortunately, It took my pretty good water and made a mess. I didnt know that I shouldnt use fresh veggies in the tank while using this product. I have removed the zucchini (which my plecos love) and did a water change. My water looks like there is dust floating in it. Im not sure what to do next. Im so frustrated.

This stuff does take a bit of time to work but it does the job. Usually it takes over night to get the cloudiness of my tank to go down but with this it took about less than an hour to clear off. Great stuff! Compared to Tetras version for clearing tank water its way better (the Tetra one didnt really seem to do anything).

I’ve been using this for 2 years. Definitely works. With other Seachem products, this keeps my fishies and shrimp and snails very happy.

I used this in my established marine tank that had gotten a little cloudy and a water change did not help. This stuff cleared it up overnight! It made the water crystal clear!
