Seachem Pristine Aquarium Treatment, 500ml (001438)

Bought this product to help with odor. My brother has a 20 gallon tank with 4 angel fish and lots of snails on top of that the fish are being fed flakes. I started noticing a odor from the tank due to overfeeding every couple days after water changes. Odor smelled like mold and something rotting. I bought this to help break down the food and waste faster. The first day this was used at 11am and when I came back at 7-8pm the smell was GONE.

So far I havent seen it do anything to amaze me. If that changes Ill update it but right now Im thinking I wasted good money on water. 5/1/17. So Ive been using this on my 60gal with 5 bottle nose plecos and it does work. Those guys love to make a mess and since Ive started doing a bit of the maintenance dosages the sludge is cleaned up maybe I can cut back from the two marine land filters Im running.

I’ve been using this for 2 years. Definitely works. With other Seachem products, this keeps my fishies and shrimp and snails very happy.

Really dont see any difference and if it helps with the waste I dont see it. My nitrates still go up as time goes by and still doing weekly water changes. I thought I could take it a couple of more days but not the case so its still every 7 for water changes. As for cleaner water it looks the same I kept my water clean. If you need some extra BB when working on a tank TSS is still the best. I gave it time I bought a second bottle to be fair because its Seachem High $ waste of money. IMO

Water stays crystal clear. Highly recommended.

Definitely decreases the sludge and algae build up on the glass but noticed no decrease in nitrates or rate which they build up in the tank. It works better API Stress Zyme in keeping the tank cleaner.
