Seachem Safe 1 Kilo

Safe is a must for serious aquarists. It does everything that Prime does but its a much better value. I bought a kilo in 2018 and one year later I still have enough to last for a decade. I bought some of the Dash, Smidgen, Drop spoons for more precise dosing.

All this time myself and everyone I know uses Prime in their fish tanks. Well it’s expensive and I found I was always needing a new bottle. Turns out This is identical and needs very very little. Just do the math weigh it out and put it in the tank. I haven’t even used a quarter of this bottle and I have 30 tanks!! It’s a must

I used to swear by PRIME but once I found Safe.. I bought a kilo 2 years ago and have used it to start new tanks anywhere from 55 to 230 gallons. I use the tiniest amount in each gallon of water I add to the tank during changes and by tiniest amount, I mean a pinch. Less than an 8th teaspoon. Either way, at this rate this one container will outlive me!

I have used Prime for years but found it was not economical for my pond, this powdered formula is way cheaper per dose. It smells like rotton eggs but I can live with that since it does such a great job binding ammonia, nitrite, chlorine and chloramine.

Great product. I use it all the time.
