    Bought the 1 kilo. This is the best and most economical product for removing chlorine and chloramines out there. I have used the liquid prime which works great too, but doesnt last as long. This is basically a more concentrated powder form of prime. I use 1/4 teaspoon / 50 gallons. It really has a strong rotten eggs odor when opening the cap, though.

    This may be the best dechlorinator value out there. Works perfectly. This being a powder, I pre-mix my change water before re-filling. Thats just what my way of thinking tells me to do with a powder and have no real basis for it other than its worked well for me for a long time.

    Safe is an EXCELLENT product. It will literally last you years. But a word of caution: do NOT open the bottle inside your house. Walk about 20 feet away, take a deep breath, cover your nose, then go ahead and measure it out. If you have gas lines at your house, be prepared to be mildly freaked out that your lines might be leaking because this stuff smells like rotten eggs, and it is intense.

Sachem Safe Water Conditioner Safe is the complete and concentrated dry conditioner for both fresh and salt water. Safe removes chlorine, chloramine and ammonia. Safe converts ammonia into a safe, non-toxic form that is readily removed by the tank"s bio filter. Safe may be used during tank cycling to alleviate ammonia/nitrite toxicity. Safe detoxifies nitrite and nitrate, allowing the bio filter to more efficiently remove them. Safe is non-acidic and will not impact ph. Safe will not over activate skimmers. Use at start-up and whenever adding or replacing water. Safe is the dry version of Prime(R) and shares all of it"s advantages; however, Safe is even more concentrated than Prime(R) .
