Greater than one weekNo shortcuts for cycling your tank with this product. The bottle says you can add fish right away if you follow the doses. I followed the instructions and a week later all my new fish are dead. I used an API test kit and I was getting 0.25-0.5ppm for Ammonia and barely any nitrates were registering. Dont waste your money, but this could possible help with a fishless cycle.

> 3 dayIt doesnt cycle the tank in only 7 days although it does give it a boost, nothing will beat taking filter media from an already cycled tank. If youre going to use this monitor your water chemistry with the api test kit
