This stiff works ! First time setting up a tank with tap water. I used water conditioner a few days prior to putting in the first dose. After the first dose all my levels were perfect ! This stuff can defiantly cycle a new tank in 1 to 2 weeks

Ive been using Stability weekly to regulate and supplement my biological filtration in several aquariums. Ive never had any issues with it and it seems to do a great job. Ive most recently used it to seed a brand-new filter in an already well-established aquarium. I ditched a hang-on-back filter that had been in use for years and switched over to a canister. Initially I was thinking of seeding the canister with pieces of the old filter material (a Biowheel) but I wanted to hand the Biowheel down to a friend, so it wasnt worth cutting up. I figured I could use Seachems loading dose of Stability to power-seed the new filter and it worked wonderfully. The whole time my water parameters stayed right where they should. Im pretty confident that you could use this stuff to cycle a tank almost immediately, although Im not sure Id really do it.

Follow the instructions to a T and it works perfectly. Worked for me on two occasions where I got fish faster then the tank cycled!

Could not get my tank cycled trying other bacteria strains. Used this and it finished cycling fairly quickly! (Did not fish-in cycle, just was adding straight ammonia) Now I will add some of this, just to be safe, after large water changes or when changing portions of my filter unit.

This stuff works great if your fishtank is cloudy! Its easy to use and works better then anything Ive ever tried

I opted for a fishless cycle on my tank; my ammonia was well over 4ppm, turning it into nitrates in less than a week.

I would give this more stars, but the thing is it worked so well initially that i never needed to use it but once (making it pretty expensive for a small application). Use as jumpstart for new tanks or full water changes (?). The Biofilter is important for clean and efficient water cycles, this keeps levels in check, and my fish seem happy.
