Greater than one weekThis is a Gen4 drive and it is indeed backwards compatible with Gen3 controllers. It is also able to absolutely max out those controllers. PassMark places this in the 99th percentile for disk performance. An amazing upgrade if you have anything less then a Samsung 970 Pro or maybe the EVO+.
