I just built a new pretty darn fast PC, and I wanted some fast storage in it. As my motherboard supports PCIe 4.0 (AKA Gen4), I looked around for a M.2 SSD based on PCIe 4.0, and decided (after a price drop) to go with the 1TB Firecuda 520.

Easy install and works flawlessly with PS5. Recommended

Essential due to ps5 having such a ridiculous lack of storage capacity built in at purchase. Easy to install. Works a dream. Very pleased.

Faulty Aorus 7000s was dying prematurely (67% is 9 months with only 70GB on it) replaced it with this, cloned the old drive onto this one and despite them both being rated for very similar read/write speeds, this one is just hauling ass. Boots up in like 2 seconds.

As I heard that whining sound, I feared that my PCs four-years-old standard hard drive was dying. My future direction is toward video-editing, requiring a faster PC (gaming PCs are also used for video editing). Why not acquire this high-speed Seagate Fire to match my soon-to-purchase PC?

Tatsächlich extrem schnell in CrystalDiskMark. Hoffentlich hält sie länger als die MP600, die ich vorher hatte.
